[Some of them are sewn plush dolls, and other ones are knit dolls. All of them are incredibly intricate and super detailed. He's really, really good at making dolls.]

Those are all really cute; you're great at it. And I wouldn't mind you making things, but uh, could they be plain? I like doing the designs on 'em myself. I'm better at tiny, detailed shit than big seams and stuff.
Well, actually it's just that all that's a lot more fun for me so I got more practice.
[He gestures at his own clothes, which have embroidered and applique designs in bright colors. The pictures themselves might be a tad morbid (Kanji does like skulls), but they're really beautiful.]
