Inside of the notebook, she's making a list of the people she knows here in the castle, and what she's thinking of getting them for the holidays. I make or alter most of my shit myself, but it's really cool to meet someone else who sews here. What kind of clothes are you best at?

[He looks up and blushes a little but grins through it.]

You like it? I'm working really hard on it. I dunno though... she asked for purple, but the yellow went so nice. Made the colors pop a little, you know?

I'll be done with these stitches in just a sec.

Oh, totally! The colors just work together so well...!

[But she's gonna stop there, waiting by the door until he's done with his stitches. She doesn't want to just invite herself into the room or anything, after all!]

Come on in. Don't be shy or nothin' 'cause there's room!

[And he finishes up the stitches, very tenderly putting the doll away.]

[She walks in slowly, taking in the room around her... and the person in front of her. She has to admit, this isn't entirely what she had expected. Not that he couldn't be into fashion and design, but most of the guys she had met in the pursuit of those hobbies usually had a very different aesthetic to them.]

[His room is very colorful and neat. There's piles of carefully organized dolls, sewing and art supplies, and all kinds of things. Which means it's also pretty full of stuff.]

It's cool of you to come. Hope you don't mind the clutter.

[He runs his hand through his hair, just a little sheepish.]

Oh, no, not at all! My own room is so much worse... this doesn't seem all that bad~

[...It's not really lying if she honestly believes that her room is cluttered?

She wanders over to the sewing machine and starts looking at it, checking out the make and everything.]

Wow, this is really nice... did you wish this up from the castle?

Yeah. It's like the one my Ma has at home. I only use it for major seams and shit though. I actually like sewin' by hand better, but it'd take way too long if I was making shirts and pants entirely by hand and shit. My dolls are all done completely by hand though.

[Some of them are sewn plush dolls, and other ones are knit dolls. All of them are incredibly intricate and super detailed. He's really, really good at making dolls.]

[She turns to look more closely at the dolls, since he mentioned them, and her eyes go way wide.]

Wow... these are... these are amazing.

[He blushes hard but seems really happy.]

Thanks. I've been workin' really hard on doing the best I can with 'em. You can take one, if you want. The one's I'm making for people are in a different pile.

I-I can?? But... but you clearly worked so hard on all of them, and... and...!!

I don't make 'em for me. I make 'em for people to love and play with. If you see one you like, go ahead! I know you'll take best care of it.

[Just then, Shiki's eye lands on one with short brown hair that looks kind of small and petite... but is still kind of cute, and looks a lot like she should. She reaches out with tender hands and picks it up, staring at it a little.]

W-Well then, I... thank you. Really.

Oh, and hey! If I can ever do anything for you in return - make clothing or whatever - just let me know, and I'd be happy to do it! I, uh... I don't have that much with me, but I made everything I'm wearing, so, um, I guess it's an example of what I can do!

[He looks her over, still blushing a little.]

Those are all really cute; you're great at it. And I wouldn't mind you making things, but uh, could they be plain? I like doing the designs on 'em myself. I'm better at tiny, detailed shit than big seams and stuff.

Well, actually it's just that all that's a lot more fun for me so I got more practice.

[He gestures at his own clothes, which have embroidered and applique designs in bright colors. The pictures themselves might be a tad morbid (Kanji does like skulls), but they're really beautiful.]
