[So Kanji might have seen Eridan earlier before he got distracted by ponies and snow. He's just heading in himself after some time taking in the beautiful crisp cold air and...

That color doesn't belong in snow. Time to investigate!]

Pretty much, yeah.

[Kanji doesn't mind at all, though if Eridan gets in the way he'll nudge him over so he can cook without accidents. The recipe isn't complicated, but on the other hand, Kanji measures everything entirely by eye. He does cut the sugar though, so the result will be bittersweet instead of sweet.

And he adds just a dash of peppermint extract, just because. When he's done he pours out a couple of piping hot mugs and there's definitely enough for seconds, and maybe thirds. For someone who would like barely sweetened chocolate? This concoction would be delicious, but it's definitely not for people with a pronounced sweet tooth.]

I made a little too much, I guess! Drink up, man. How do you like it?

[Eridan's going to eye this for a little while with a bit of distaste, and to be completely honest it's the color of the thing that's putting him off of it. Seriously, why did it have to be so...so hideously brown. He'll just immediately associate that with things he doesn't wanna look at.]

[At first Kanji's worried. Then he realizes that maybe the look is because it's brown and okay, he gets having strong color associations. It's kind of the story of his life. Food doesn't always taste right if it's a color he associates very strongly with a flavor that it isn't. He rolls his eyes and groans, but if anything it's almost fond.]

Dammit. Seriously? If it's the color that's putting you off, man-- Damn, you really need to work on that.

[But! He can fix it. A few drops of food coloring and a spoon later. Tadaa, purple hot chocolate. It's a really dull purple, but it's purple.]

Cocoa powder, sugar, water, milk, a little vanilla and a little peppermint. I cut down on the sugar and added the peppermint 'cause you wanted it a little bitter. I ain't so good with numbers, so I'd have to make it again and use measuring cups to tell you amounts in some kinda number form.

And you don't gotta keep it entirely the same every time. If I'm feeling like something different I add a little bit of spices and shit.

Eq's lusus produces milk or some shit but eitherwway I tried it an' fuckin' hated it an' it's the closest thing I havve evver heard to milk on Alternia.

It all depends I mean they can be but in other cases it can be a situation wwhere they nevver do anythin' an' you havve to take care a' yourself.

I saw Gamz lusus out in the sea all the time so I think it might a neglected 'em. Plus Ter's wwas in an egg an' the day it hatched it kinda died. So you just havve to be lucky I guess.
