22. The City of Love
[It was just another day in Paris for Lilith Nightroad, another day in the perfect life that she had been blessed with. There was a definite chill in the air today, a precursor for Christmas Day (something greatly anticipated by her husband more than anyone, for when else could he play dress up and make the children look at him with such adoration?), and the schools had finally broken up for the holidays.
Anyone passing through a play-park today, might just happen to see a (possible familiar) red-haired lady all bundled up in a coat and scarf. She's pushing a pram with a sleeping baby inside, and there are two other children (a girl of four and a boy of six) running around on the swings and slide.
Perhaps you bump into her as you're walking along? Perhaps one of the naughty children comes to beg for a bar of candy in a melodramatic manner? Or perhaps you just recognise this old Paradisa resident.]
