[after the humiliating incident here and Yui's wrath, Suboshi CRIED HIMSELF TO SLEEP really wishes Miaka and her warriors would appear, just so he could prove to Yui that he means every word of what he said to her. (Not to mention that he's worried about his brother.) Unfortunately they're obviously nowhere near the place and pretending an inanimate object is Miaka or Tamahome isn't good enough, so he has to settle for something else.
