[someone stumbles up onto the castle grounds, into the garden, covered with dirt and looking a bit worse for wear. not that she's ever... not... looking worse for wear, but hey.
she's really tired, but when she notices that there's a giant castle in front of her, she straightens right up in surprise and confusion.]
Oh, I'm... back here again? How

Following the woman back toward the castle happens somewhat automatically. These things tend to happen when she's groggy and hungry. Sneaking along like a wild animal, blending flawlessly into the greenery, stalking a tasty-smelling meal...
Until, as she's moving from one branch to another in a nearby tree, she fails her stealth roll and snaps a twig.
Oops.]

but the snapping sound makes her spin around immediately, crouching down and reaching for the knife she keeps tucked at her side. much too fast and much too sudden for your normal city girl.
upon noticing it is a person and not a vicious animal up in that tree, however, she... doesn't relax. but she looks surprised.]
You're a real person? [what are you doing up in that tree. D:]

Uh... as opposed to what?

[human speech is a good sign. she calls this acceptable, standing back up and moving her hands to her sides. she's willing to pit her running skills against this person's if she has to.]
Why are you... following me? You're not a wolf...

So there's going to be a very delighted, happy child practically giggling into the journal as he leans towards the pages - much to Rain's chagrin from across the room.]

It's been... t-that long, really? [she laughs, awkwardly.] I'm all right, I think I just got really lost. I wasn't expecting to be... here again.

[A beaming grin. Fairy boy is so happy Saline remembers him, you have no idea. :>]
But I'm delighted to hear your voice again! And that you're doing okay.

You're back? Ah, welcome back! I'm afraid I can't tell you how long you've been gone, because I've only been here or a short while myself. Very short while. Like several days.
But good to know that you're back safe and sound! Wouldn't have you getting lost out there in the unknown world we live in, hmmm?

But I've already gotten lost. [but then she adds, quickly--] Though I'm, you know, here and all now, so I guess I'm not lost anymore, so it's... okay.

[A little hum of contentment.] That's good to hear. Though, out of curiosity, did you discover anything out there in the deep dark wilderness? Or did you find nothing at all?

[she tries to think. she's seen so much forest lately and frequently suffers from hallucinations, so it's hard to remember when weird things really happen.]
I don't remember very much else being strange. I'd meant to go out, I think, and... see if there were other places besides here. But I guess I went in a big circle on accident.
