Good day,

I realize that there are over thirteen million journals on the site now. This is a fact that has been proudly displayed onwww.livejournal.com for some days now.

It's a great letter, but you're missing the part where you threaten to pull your advertising.

Just be sure to indicate if you get a reply, even if you don't share its contents with us. I'd be impressed and reassured; right now I don't think 6A gives half a damn about me, simply because I'm merely a member.

Pull my advertising? I'm guessing you're being facetious, as I don't have much advertising by way of LJ except for having links to it on Kismetropolis.

But if I do get a reply, I'll be glad to share it.

Yup, that's me.

I applaud your faith and your optimism, though. I wish I were capable of such at the moment.

I'm not faithful or optimistic, really.

I suffer from a terminal case of Hope Springs Eternal, whether I like it or not.

I've spent six years here, and I hate to have to go.

Thank you. I hope as well there's someone listening who won't just blow off my letter.

Well done. That is really beautifully written and well reasoned.

Fantastic job... Thank you for reminding me of the journals that were NOT deleted.

I'm not a permanent user, and I'm secretly hoping that the number of people whose automatic renewals were turned off is noticable. I'm not sure I'll leave livejournal anytime soon... but I know of no other tangible way to voice my frustration.

I suspect it will take a *long* time to respond to the--thousands, isn't it now?--many individual questions and complaints generated by this particular foulup.
