Note to self.. fire Good! Plasma rifle, even better but high velocity splatter is kinda a problem [bone shards make nasty shrapnel, and cause infection. Oops!]
I had some problems convincing staff here too, fortunitly, police are way too busy dealing with 'riots' and 'bio-terrorist victims' to bother with an armed maniac taking over a museum.
Good job this place has workshops, I'm armoring up a van to make a run to the local supermarket for provisions. [It's weapons and defensible position first, food supplies can come later].
Will hold out here as long as possible, but plan on equipping as many survivors as possible and doing a covoy run to more isolated regions. Will locate satellite communications if I can [yay for camping stores!] to stay in touch.
I'm barricaded in a computer lab here at work. No windows, one exit, and I'm guarding it. Managed to grab some bleach from the janitor's closet on the way here -- hopefully, I won't have to use it. My boss was running with me when the bastards got him...I liked working with some of those people, but I wouldn't mind giving *him* a big splash of Clorox in the eye...
Clorox may not help. Max Brooks' book says they use all five senses more completely than us live folks, so if you blind one, it may not necessarily stop it.
Break off a broom handle so you can stab them in the eye.
I haven't heard from anyone on that side of town...I'm perfectly sick with worry. I haven't seen him online either, and he's *always* online at this time of day.
I fear the worst.
I'm about 45 seconds from my car...I'm making a break for it. I have to know what's happening to my family!

Now all I can do is sit and wait.
