[OPEN THREAD] Picnic time~
Who: Everybody that wants in? :3 Reeve, Lana, Kadaj, Fai, Red XIII... whoever else?
What: PICNIC. In the garden. Tablecloths, food, fun, you know the drill.
Where: The gardens. Y'know, outside.
When: Wednesday, early afternoon-ish]
Rating: PG to start with?
The last time Reeve had seen the gardens, he'd been bleeding all over the place and running like hell from a giant winged wolf intent on making him lunch. (Kind of difficult to appreciate the natural beauty of a place when you're busy trying to not die or be maimed horribly.) Oh, and he'd been male then too; while not particularly important, it was significant enough to note. At least being female didn't detract from the experience, other than the underwire of his bra digging into his skin.
The cliched red-and-white checkered tablecloth was thrown out under a nice shade tree, three baskets and a tin pail filled with ice and bottled lemonade keeping the edges of the cloth from blowing away in the light breeze. Idyllic? Yes. Too idyllic for his tastes, but he was too involved in the sketchpad resting on his knees to care.
Barefoot, in jeans and a t-shirt and his hair all messed up- Reeve still hadn't quite gotten the whole 'feminine pride' thing down, and he refused to even consider makeup. So instead, he was leaning against the tree trunk, half an egg salad sandwich held by his teeth and hands busily erasing part of his sketch. "... what's the holdup?" he mused, looking back towards the castle. "Could've sworn they said they were coming...."
