What: Kougaiji's set on proving that he isn't a "Spartan". Racial pride, perhaps?

Rating: Let's say PG-13, just to be safe? ^^;
It was safe to say that Kougaiji was quite offended by being called a human. Even if it wasn't a direct accusation, he was still taken to be a "Spartan," which to his understanding was the name for a group of nothing more than humans that were glorified in all the wrong ways. It took some amount of self-control not to twitch at that thought.
He stood to the right of the entrance to the gardens, looking around for any sign of this mysterious other and remaining on his guard. He had no idea how long he would have to wait, but given the attitude of the accuser, he had a feeling it wouldn't be long. And if his appearance alone couldn't set the record straight (the claws, the ears, the hair, the eyes... what was there to mistake for human?), he had other ways...
