[Of course he's willing to answer questions! And for Sakura he is... oddly at ease, leaning back in his chair and letting his attention drift slightly around the court room. He only fidgets a little with his hands and only because being restrained for long periods is fuckin uncomfortable sometimes]

[While he may have words on this presumed guilt thing later, for now he expects this girl to give him as fair a chance as she can. He's waiting, dear 8>]

[ YOU ARE ALL GUILTY Sakura bows to Harvey, the Jurors, and the Judge before starting "questioning." ]

Good day, Mr. Dent and Mr. Two-Face. How are the two of you doing today?

[ OFF TO A BRILLIANT START ]

[BUT IT SHOULD BE ON YOU TO PROVE IT MANG!!! Nods just slightly to her, the edge of one of his terrible smiles touching his face]

[ I DUN WANNA! ]

If you don't mind me asking, when was the last time you were in one?

Hmm... [Clicks his tongue, thinking. And... fuck if I know the date comics time is stupid, so: ]

A... month or so... before we ended up here. Which was in November of last year. [BEING HELPFUL???]

[ She nods, acknowledging his answer. This is like having... a sort of discussion in ways. Bring out everything people need to consider. Good, bad, whatever.

... Or something. ]

We're coming close to a full year of your time here in Paradisa. How have you found yourself passing time here?

Oh you know... just trying to get by.

[Pauses, clearly turning his attention inward for a moment. And then he rolls his eyes a little, clearing his throat and: ]

We spent the past few months in hiding. Which was horrible, really.

[haruno]

What or who was it you both were hiding from?

[sonsofzeus]

[Hehhh...] You.

[Points at her for a moment, before opening his hand and just... gesturing to the air in front of him, a generalizing motion. 'You' as in the entire castle, instead of 'you' as in you, miss Haruno]

Your prison. That... cell. [There is a brief shudder of... disgust or... distress on that last word. Much as they see this trial as a step in the right direction, they still have a lot of negative feelings about Paradisa's supposed heroes...]

Had you been brought to the cells before? If so, what for? Why did you have reason to avoid the prison here, prior to the events of the last few months? Were there people here pursuing you?

The Bats used their prior experience with us, made some assumptions, and decided we were dangerous when we first arrived. So they threw us down there for a month.

[Implication being that they escaped eventually woops :X]

[ She nods, if... lol yes well the eventual escape. ]

After your eventual liberation, were the people you refer to as "the Bats" still pursuing you based on their prior experience, off world, with you?

Maybe. [Shrugs!]

We didn't hear much from them, but presumably they were out there somewhere.

[ She nods. ]

Can you tell the jury when it was you first encountered Ms. Takamura?

In person?

[Little sigh...] Around the end of April. [Which is... technically accurate though it sort of... ignores the whole... stalking her for a few days beforehand... thing...]
