Rating: So very G, unless someone has a potty mouth! Then maybe it'll change later. She is practically a Disney Princess, there is no swearing ever.

Sweets is wandering in to make himself something quick for breakfast, and arrives in time to see the soda explode. It's actually ... a pretty common occurrence where he's from -- more for prank reasons than for anything else. He can also tell by the dress that she might not be familiar with the properties of a soda can.

"Shake it up too much before you opened it?" he offers sympathetically, reaching for one of the hand towels to help her clean up. "Soda can be tricky that way."

Elena heaves a sigh but, luckily, that's about the time Sweets walks in so she doesn't feel quite as silly as she did before. It helps to learn that this soda can be tricky, as he said. She is quick to claim another towel so she can make the process move along a little faster.

Plus? This soda feels absolutely terrible against her skin, she kind of wants to run upstairs and change -- but manners first! While cleaning the floor, she directs a sheepish smile his way.

"On the contrary, I only dropped it! I've not had the best luck since my arrival here. Perhaps I am simple still getting used to the surroundings, so I am.. nervous? Yes! That must be it."

Yes. That explained it perfectly! Right? Right.

"That's perfectly normal. A lot of people have a hard time adjusting to the castle right away." He continued to help her clean up the mess before standing up and flashing her a smile. "At least you didn't blow up the microwave."

Once the mess is dealt with, she straightens up and gives him a questioning sort of look. The microwave, which one of these were called that? She directs her gaze around the kitchen before her smile becomes sheepish.

"I am afraid I'm not well-versed on the names of the items in this kitchen."

"Oh!" he says with a nod, before looking over the different appliances. He moves through each one, placing his hand on it as he does. "Refridgerator. Microwave, coffee maker, toaster, oven."

He pauses for a moment, looking around to make sure that he heard everything. "I think that's everything."

Every time he names something, she nods and attempts to commit the word to memory. Once the mini-tour is over she smiles and bows her head.

"You have my thanks. But I do believe I touched something on the microwave, however! It made a strange noise, one I have never heard before.."

She looks a tad uneasy. DID I BREAK IT, SWEETS? ;;

YOU DID NOT BREAK IT. Or ... probably not. Sweets turns and looks at the screen, before pressing another button and clearing the screen with a beep!

"All the buttons on the microwave beep. It's one of the features."

Elena looks a little surprised when the microwave makes the same noise it had when she had touched it. Ah, so it was a completely normal occurrence. She sighs, clearly relieved, then offers him a grateful smile.

"I see! What a curious device. And this is used to make food?"

"More to warm it up than to actually cook it. I mostly used it for my leftovers back home. We're more likely to use the oven for actual cooking."
