"Katherine," Dick calls out after his collegue, blowing into his hands for warmth.

It's been several days since Dick had found out that his life here in Paris has been nothing but a lie, and that, in fact, he is still a prisioner of Paradisa, but as depressing as that thought is appearances still need to be maintained. So for the time being, or at least until the castle decides to deem otherwise, Dick is the curator of the Château de Bagatelle, although, in light of recent events, he will be taking a step back from his duties and working largely from home where he lives with his physically 10 year old brother.

Her head turns, smiling when she sees Dick. It's not easy to discern him from Neal, but given the fact that this is slightly out of Neal's two-mile radius, she's fine with recognizing him on sight.

"Lord Grayson," she addresses him formally, with a curtsey, still-ever the lady in character managing to maintain her poise. "I take it the day finds you well?"

Dick finds her to be charming and ever as lady-like as the role she so frequently portrays to the people she gives tours to. "Lady Pierce," Dick bows his head, bending slightly at the middle with an arm behind his back and one tucked against his stomach, returning the courtesies with a slight grin.

"Quite well," in truth, Dick enjoys acting out the role of Comte d'Artois alongside Katherine's Madame la comtesse d'Artois and finds interacting with the tourists far more to his liking than hours spent in a room reading through musty old books, and as such, he tries to escape to the gardens as often as possible. "Although I'll be feeling much better once the servants have readied the house for the arrival of my brother and the lady Antoinette."

Truthfully, Katherine misses the simplicity of her life before everything spiraled out of control. Being human through this stay in Paris has definitely given her a bit more perspective than she'd anticipated, but she's actually fond of it for the moment. The lack of pressure to be something or some particular way - it is a bit of relief.

"I do hope that if they require help they ask for it. I would hate for things to be delayed on the behalf of someone unwilling to seek additional guidance." Smiling at Dick she could see how anyone could easily want to just drift into the ways of yesterday and return to that simple time.

Ah, sometimes Katherine could really hit the nail of the head. "Speaking of which, might I be permitted to take a moment of your time?" Dick was polite enough to address both Katherine and her tour with an apologetic smile.

Smiling, she nodded and moved to wave over another one of the tour guides. She handed off her charges and gave her full attention to Dick.

"What's on your mind?"

"It's nothing really, but I wanted to deliver the news in person." Dick doesn't have to put on an act, this really is something of a family emergency. "I'll be working from home for a little while." Right up until Paradisa changes back to itself and either dumps him back there or wipes him from existence once again, you know, whichever.

"I haven't been there a lot and Damian needs me around, so..." It was no secret to the staff of the château that he and his younger brother had relocated to Paris after the death of Damian's father, which of course is all a castle invented lie, but for now it serves a sort of purpose, however guilty insinuating it makes him feel.

"It's completely understandable, I know that your family is important to you. It's something I picked up on relatively quickly once I got to know a bit about you." Katherine had actually been quite curious about the man who looked like Neal, so digging into his life here in Paris had become a tiny hobby.

Dick smiles. "Thanks for understanding, Katherine." He knew should would. "I appreciate it."

"Do you need anything else?" She inquires, knowing that if she can help out, she wouldn't mind it. The gardens, the entire area was beautiful and she didn't mind staying there longer than usual.

A vacation would be nice. Somewhere to let this all sink in. Unless this was Paradisa's idea of a break. "That's it." He smiles, touching her briefly on the arm in thanks. "Just keep doing what you're doing."

"If you need anything, don't hesitate to ask, Dick. It's not as if I have much else to do around here."

She assumes that this is just like all the other changes that people talk about and she's not stressing too much about how things are going to pan out. She's human for the moment and if she has simple things to distract her from all the bigger things -- she's going to take them.

Dick laughs politely. To be honest, the upkeep of the Château is the last thing on his mind right now, but it is his job- his life here in Parisian Paradisa, and Katherine is a part of that. "Careful, you may live to regret those words."

"I'm not the type that has regrets, but I'll remember that."

"You'd better." He grins at that and waves his goodbyes. "Take care, Katherine. I'll be in touch."

She nods and waves as he walks off. She'll return to her group at the next stopping point.
