The shoji screen door slides open, and Yamada enters. She takes a seat at one side of the table, huddling her feet beneath the elegant kotatsu covering. The schoolgirl is dressed in a violet kimono with floral patterns, with a matching barrette in her hair. Once she is settled, she poises her hands delicately in front of her, so as to discreetly afford her a view of her wristwatch, which is now reading ten after six. Neal should be arriving any moment now.

"Oh, that sounds fun!" Yamada leans in closer, appearing equal parts flirtatious and genuinely interested. "So, you help solve cases and such?"

He can read the flirting -- he isn't an idiot -- and part of him realizes he should dial it back a bit, but he still keeps things friendly, at least. "Yes -- mostly to do with art and forgery."
