Riful plot
It's gonna happen. But not without some input from you guys! The idea's been shown around and we've had a lot of mixed feedback on how things are right now so what we'd like to do is ask the community as a whole what it wants! As of right now it is planned for August, with more details below the cut.
There is also a poll at the bottom! This is important since it will affect how this whole thing plays out.

Separate the strong and weak; the leaders and followers.
You may even wind up fighting those you once called "friends".

The villains of Paradisa are waging war on the residents of the castle! And while the event itself occurs on the 11th~12th ICly it will only happen on the 12th.
August the 11th:
All 40,000 townspeople fall under the control of Legato & Wilhelm. They will be openly hostile to residents, forcing them into Main Street while arming themselves for battle with anything they can find. Joshua C. will time-stop & turn to stone those who wanted to be opted out as Arthas takes lead of the newly-formed army and marches on the castle. Townspeople will not harm characters to the point of injury.
Arthas, Hank Henshaw, Joshua, Legato, and Wilhelm will be part of this assault and try to herd residents toward the castle. Before too much fighting can break out Riful will then inform the castle that she has taken several residents hostage: should they continue to fight she will kill them one by one, but if they surrender peacefully and give her several key people from the castle as a sign of their acceptance and surrender she will spare everyone. They will be given 2 hours ICly to come up with a decision.
Hostages are kept at the Lake Outpost and guarded by Tyki, Billy (Dr. Horrible), Harley Quinn, Two-Face and Nikola Tesla.
August the 12th:
Heroes make their decision! Should they choose to fight they will need to do several key things to ensure victory:
As heroes fight back the townspeople will begin trying in earnest to injure them. They need to be stopped or disabled. Any that fall will be risen as undead by Arthas, and there may be slots open for this to happen to characters as well--we'll see :>
As soon as the hostages are rescued Riful will join the battle at the castle and it will be up to everyone to join arms and stop the villains from succeeding! Whether they have a battle plan or just gung-ho it is up to you guys--absolutely everything about how this plot ends is up to you guys. Once Riful makes her offer to the castle nothing is set in stone other than the villains cannot be victorious. Not any longer.
Everyone has to answer to their crimes, even monsters...
This is the default plan for the plot, which the other two options will be based off of. Everything and everything about this is flexible and negotiable; don't hesitate to come forward or voice concerns about anything at all. THIS IS IMPORTANT. Because very seldom have I been approached about anything Riful-related by heroes and I want to make everyone happy )8
Option #2: Heroes Take Initiative
The Heroes bring the fight to the villains before any of this happens; maybe they're even tipped off and have to act before their plans can come to fruition. Heroes & their muns will be in charge of organizing this.
Option #3: Riful Provokes Heroes
Similar to the events above, but tweaked so that the Heroes are forced to act upon their own terms to take Riful down. This will be shaped largely by the players. Villains will organize this with mun input.
So now comes the important part: your thoughts!

- Save the hostages (they're privy to some good info!)
- Separate Arthas from Frostmourne (stops any undead from roaming directed)
- Defeat villains
