Embrace the cute stuff
It’s just like any other morning in the Wu household where little Kris will place his plushies on the empty sits of the dining table for breakfast with his family and realized that he’s short off one chair.
“Mommy,” Kris called out his mother who’s in the kitchen. “There’s no chair for mister dragon.”
Kris’ mother laughed softly at her son’s pouting voice before heading towards the dining table where Kris’ held on to a big dragon plushie which he got from their previous neighbour as a goodbye gift.
“How about we go shopping for a small dining table for your babies?” she asked him, squatting down at his level, pushing back the stray hair at the side of his face.
Eyes sparkles and a wide smile graced his features as he ran towards the living room where his father was sitting on the sofa. “Daddy! Mommy said we’ll go shopping for my friends!”
“But your mother said it’s for your babies,” his father said teasingly.
Kris stared at the dragon in his hand and frowns, “they’re cute, but not cute enough to be my babies.” Both adult laughed at his adorableness.

Kris was happy, even happy couldn’t describe how he really felt when his mother bought for him the dining table that she promised and his father bought him an angry bird and a Rilakkuma plushies that he had been eyeing on.
It wasn’t that Kris love cute things at first but it’s because of his appearance he tends to look for cute things to make him looks softer and eventually he has a soft spot for cute things and feels that he needs to own it.
Kris is very particular to whom he lets to touch his plushies, "only the cute ones can touch it’ and he even chose to be friends with cute people rather than the cool type, Amber is an exception just because they’re related.

Kris peeked through the curtain to see their new neighbour and jumped in anticipation because his mother told him that they have two sons one of them is Kris’ age and the other is three years younger than him and the younger one is very adorable and apparently Kris didn’t know what adorable is until his mother explained it to him, 'it’s cuter than cute’, which leave Kris’ eyes sparkle at it and his mother wondered if it’s a good thing or a bad thing.
Kris saw two boys coming down from the car, first was a tall boy who opened the door and held his hand out to the other one inside, after waiting for a second Kris saw a small tiny hand gripping the taller ones and slide down from the car, making Kris squealed at the cute action.
“I have a bad feeling,” Kris’ father told his wife, observing his child’s creeping on their new neighbour.

Kris smiled widely when their neighbour came for dinner. He kept his eyes on the smaller one who was clutching onto the taller one’s shirt very aware that Kris was smiling at him. Kris’ smile faded when the smaller one hides behind the taller one who chuckled and pushed him towards Kris.
“Hello, we are your new neighbour. I’m Do Seungsoo,” the taller one said and gestured a hand towards the smaller one beside him, “this is my baby brother, Do Kyungsoo.”
Kris was stunned when Kyungsoo peaked through his fringe and smiled, it’s very cute heart-shape smile. He must be staring for too long because his mother had to nudge him, remind him that it’s rude to not introduce yourself.
“I’m Kris,” Kris forced himself to look away from Kyungsoo to look at the other, “and mommy said that we’re the same age.”
Seungsoo stared at Kris for a few seconds before smiling and Kris wondered why his smile isn’t as cute as his younger brother. “I also like cute things and I think Kyungsoo is adorable, he is cuter than cute, it means that I love him because he’s adorable.”
Kris turned towards Kyungsoo who suddenly looked up at him with wide eyes and Kris had it, he squealed and hugged Kyungsoo when the boy’s cheeks started to get rosy.
“Daddy! I want a Kyungsoo!!! He’s adorable!! He’ll be my baby!!” Kris shouted in excitement, not letting go of Kyungsoo who’s still clutching onto his brother’s shirt, causing his brother to laugh at the terrified face his baby brother had on.
“I can share my baby brother with you,” Seungsoo said afterwards.
“I told you I had a bad feeling,” Kris’ father said in defeat, causing their new neighbour to laugh at the cute scene in front of them.
