Haunting and evocative; yet with moments of humour where Mulder kept finishing Alex's sentences.

Oh, that was...wonderful. I'd love to hear more about Doggett, and please, get back in that writing saddle!

Wow, what a fantastic story! Not rusty at all! Great writing, great plot -- I loved it that Mulder can hear Alex's thoughts even though he's dead. And I love it that Mulder turns to him in his day of mourning, for whatever reason. Though it's sad, to think of Alex watching him that way, not being able to do anything else.
The changes in the world you talked about were intriguing -- the different colors of things. You blended so much beauty and mystery in this piece. I absolutely adored it.

Marcia Elena, Alex isn't dead in this story. He lives.
>I can feel Scully's eyes burning a hole in my back. She hates that I'm here, hates that it's me and not her Mulder turns to on these days. Some things never change and her dislike and distrust for me are among them. And while she'd always been right in her assessment of me, she's right no longer. After all, we're here and not dead and that's precisely how it wasn't supposed to be

WOW!!!! That was fantastic!!! You are an amazing writer. This flowed perfectly. Not a word out of place. Your Mulder was heart-wrenching, your Alex just beautiful. What a lovely piece, Esse! And by the way, it's good to meet you. :)

Great use of your lyrics, and I loved how Mulder kept finishing Krycek’s thoughts like an old married couple. The pacing was excellent as well. I really enjoyed this story and hope to see more of you in wheels to come!
