[ The dead are left for the dead, or so the say, and Alucard; who appeared outside in the grounds of Paradise, still, cold and breathless, was assumed to be one among the deceased. His body was completely lifeless; a pale, beautiful corpse that had seemingly been abandoned, without a single scratch or bruise; no hint of violence or even a struggle ( Read more... )

[Undertaker had been particularly busy this morning. With his devour_the_gods having gone back to his home he's been all the more slow for it as well. Spending much more time with his guests than he'd usually spend.

One beautiful auburn haired man, with - what he could see - was with quite the timeless body. One silver haired man, the very same one that saved his "damsel in distress" role during the unwelcome guests (the undead). The two raven haired men, one quite big, the other a little smaller, the Ice Maker, as he recalled. A few women as well, one of Cloud's friends - which he tucked away first beneath the surface. Even he felt the need to tend to her (Tifa) before Cloud came around the shop, as his Bird often did during these days he moved out. He was all the more chipper whenever Cloud was in the shop, he was much more productive. But being that he has nobody to chit chat with he spends more time with his guests. Learning all he can from each of them, and exploring the better connection this way, versus how he connected with them when they ( ... )

[ Alucard flinched at the sound of laughter, still half asleep and feeling particularly vulnerable, his head tilted to the side quickly (in an almost bird-like movement) so he could spot the source of that noise. Thereupon Alucard saw a very slight young man, dressed all in black with hair so long it rivaled his own, the colour -in fact- wasn't too dissimilar either. As the man in black's words settled into Alucard's mind he judged the friendly -if somewhat jovial- tone of them and felt himself smile just a little. ]

So it seems.

[ He responded, his voice gentle, soft and perhaps just a little dry from his long slumber. Alucard's whole body felt stiff, all those years without the slightest movement had left him that way, so when he moved to ease himself out of the coffin he wobbled a little and felt very unsteady. He felt thin and very old all of a sudden and he longed for something to revive his strength. ]

Hm... Young man, I seem to have found my way here purely by accident. Perhaps you could tell me who brought me here? Or a ( ... )

[Undertaker trotted over to Alucard's side, a happy little expression to his face. This was something new, someone rising from the coffin. Initially he thought about grabbing his handy dandy shovel and taking it for battle, but .. as this stranger moved, and even spoke, that thought was quickly banished from his mind. This person is still a welcomed guest. (Not like those .. dead walkers..)

He softly chuckled to being called 'young man' - oh such a concept.]

Mmm? [He pulled up a stool and sat beside the coffin, which was resting on a lowly elevated table, so to sit about a foot above the ground.]

Well, you were found outside the city walls of Paradise, and brought back to the Clinic for rrrrreeeeeeeeevival. However, they could not do such a thing, and they brought you to me, to be buried.

Hmm? You are no where near your castle.. your world.

[ This was a lot of information for Alucard to take in at once and a few moments passed before he was able to form a reply in his head. Why would someone take him from his family's crypts... and paradise? Was this truly Paradise as the Christians believed it to be? But if so, where were the fabled Pearly Gates and St. Peter? Just because he didn't believe in the words of the Bible, it didn't mean he was ignorant to it. ]

Paradise...

[ He whispered quietly with a thoroughly confused expression on his pale features. ]

Have I be laid to rest, forever, in my sleep?

[ He asked gently, with an almost painful hint of innocence to his tone. ]

I still feel though... I feel hunger and pain, both of which I thought would have left me in true death.
