Oh, that's good.
We don't have to use the exact words "I love you" in our stories, do we? That's my LEAST favourite phrase in the world, simply because it's overused, in the context of Person A saying it to Person B in a SERIOUS sense. I'd like to avoid using it as much as possible without good reason.

You don't have to use it. The challenge is about love in general. It can be even a word in the crossword if you wish :)
I also prefer saying 'I love you' differently than using words.
