It's that time already, huh? Christmas is almost here. [The catboy's voice sounds noticeably shaky]

And that means he's coming. No, I don't mean St. Nicholas. I mean him. [ Pause.] Krampus.

I guess some of you don't know him, but you all should just in case, he pops up in Somarium.

Krampus is a demon from where I come from. Some people view him as ( Read more... )

Don't worry, I can just beat up the crampy person if they try to punish me. They won't know what hit them!

He's not easy to beat, Fraulein.

Does that mean you've haven't been "good" this year?

I'll just freeze him before he can do anything!

I can't seem to win with the "good" thing. If I don't prank people, then I'm lazy, but if I do prank people, I'm mean.

I prank people too. I don't think it's mean, People are just sensitive and are too insecure to laugh at themselves. That's all.

Oh my... That sounds absolutely mean!

[Really! Who goes punishing people on Christmas???]

Demons aren't usually nice, Fraulein.

But I guess, since people have been misbehaving all year round, they deserve to be punished.

I guess you are right.

But still... Christmas is a time where people are supposed to, well, be nice to each other. It sounds strange one would choose such a date to inflict any kind of punishment.

Well, in my country, St.Nicholas gives children presents on the sixth. And that's when he would appear.

This doesn't happen on Christmas, luckily. That would be very upsetting. Though, this is Somarium...anything is possible.

Demon? Heh, I'll beat him up.

I'll like to see that, Alice. He's pretty intimidating.

[Grins] So does that mean you haven't been good this year?

I've been perfectly good. I'm beating him up for people like you!

That's generous of you, but he doesn't just go after people who have done wrong. He'll go after anyone.

[Seriously, nothing is scarier than Duke in Road's case. As much as she loves him, he's terrifying when he's angry.]

I'm sure you'll be fine, Schrodinger. Why don't you come stay with me for the time being?

[Sadly, Schrodinger isn't afraid of his Major...even if he could off him with a snap. But Krampus has always scared German children for ages so...]

Stay with you? That's generous of you, Road. I may have to take you up on that offer. If he does show up, I think we both can combat him.

Feel free too. My cottage has more than enough room.

Is he really that terrible? Have you ever seen him before?

paradoxfeline December 3 2010, 02:03:57 UTC
Oh, he is.

[Frowns]

I've seen him torture this other child in my unit. It wasn't good. I slept in the Major's room that night.

Krampus? I'm afraid I've never heard of him.

I don't think you would. Most people haven't heard of him, but he's a demon that stays in my region of Europe.

He's kind of the punisher of children during Christmas.

I guess it is strange to other people.

I'm probably being superstitious, but belief is a powerful thing.
