news broke today that they are officially consolidating ALL of the satellite offices into the Princeton office.

i feel bad, and nostalgic, and it really sucks, but shit, they got what they deserve, i feel. poor management = eventual doom.

My thoughts exactly. It does suck for the people who still work there. I heard they will be rotating desks at the main office. What the fuck? How will that work? People will be dropping out of there like flies and not only will they have a "pamphlet," but no one to write it.

It's sad because I have a special place in my little black heart for it. I miss SOME of the area I covered, and I miss the lifestyle I had during it. But, I don't miss Joanne. I don't miss the stress, and I certainly don't miss being poor.

Still, though. Can you imagine years from now when we tell the "younger folk" about where we started and the Packet will be merely a memory, and not something that is still around? Sad.

At least we can say we were of the last generation to work there. Ah, nostalgia.
