I have a friend who spent spring brake in belfast, she might know of some groups... I will ask... somehow though, I would not be surprised at any of those things... one cool thing my school offers is what is called SST -- Study Service Term. Unlike most study abroad programs, much of the time on SST is spent in little villages around whatever country one is in doing service work... it is really cool.

that sounds neat; sometimes the little villages 'n towns present more impacting experiences than the big cities. i know one country that would be cool in is Ukraine. heck, eastern europe =D like Bosnia, fancy that.
