So I now have a brother who is engaged. This is a somewhat bizarre feeling. For all the planning and expectation that's been involved in my life over the past few years, I'm not sure if this "being grown up" thing has started to feel normal yet.

You may have noticed, you go thru seasons in life...graduations then marriages, having kids, (sometimes divorces), eventually funerals... The season is when it feels like everyone is doing this. I'm sure it hits a bit closer to home since this is your bro and all. But you'll adjust. And it'll be you someday too (getting married). -Angie Thier
