I came back to blogging after a very long hiatus. Like you, I had abandoned my previous lj (I didn't delete it for very sentimental reasons). But a friend encouraged me and convinced me of the value of a blog. And as I've come to realise, it's indeed quite a wondrous thing to be able to look back on your previous entries and reflect on what you've been through, how you've grown, as a person.
Besides, blogging helps to keep the polish on your writing--that is, if you do it regularly enough. :p Of course, it is a good way to find out what's happening in the lives of those on your friends list. ;)

But really it's also because of the possibly public nature of this entries that you sometimes pause and take notice of the minute details before clicking on the "post comment". It feels so calculated sometimes.
Oh and Yeo Huan thanks for letting me in on lj again and also into your own journal. I have a feeling I might be hooked onto this, although it may seem a little belated, for sometime.
