I'll have to see it when it comes out on DVD, then.
I forgot to mention that another reason I didn't see the movie last night was because I have an 8 AM final today. That's why I'm up at 6 AM. Dx (Utter bullshit. 8 AM on a Saturday!?)
How were the special effects? From the commercials, I thought they might be a little over the top. (Just to give you an idea of what I think is good, the Spiderman movies sometimes suffer from them trying to do too much and make the action too fast, which then makes it seem too fake. I really liked what they did in the Transformers movie. Even with all the crazy robots, the action was never too frenetic, and it blended well with the live actors.)
Things looked as they should. Very realistic and pretty to look at at the same time. Everything that blew up had a reason to be doing so. It is by far one of the best comicbook to movie shows that I have ever seen. We went in expecting a lot - and actually received a lot and maybe more. I am pleased.
