Oops. Baby bruv wanted a textbook and I may have gone slightly over the top. Eleven books over the top, to be precise.
Mirrorshades: The Cyberpunk Anthology - Bruce Sterling (editor) and others
The Trick is to Keep Breathing - Janice Galloway
Hyperspace: A Scientific Odyssey through Parallel Universes, Time Warps and the Tenth Dimension - Michio Kaku
Close to the Bone - Stuart MacBride
Eon - Greg Bear
Cal - Bernard MacLaverty
The Death of Ivan Ilyich and Other Stories - Leo Tolstoy
The Bat: The First Harry Hole Case - Jo Nesbo
Burning Chrome - William Gibson
Mona Lisa Overdrive - William Gibson
The Burning Mirror - Suhayl Saadi
And a maths textbook (Mechanics 2 for AS/A2)
In other news, it’s dreich outside and I’m struggling with a general lack of motivation. I’m meant to be going to see my mum at her work (where she’s house-sitting), so I’ll use the travelling time as a chance to re-learn some AS-level maths I need to know for baby bruv’s birthday card (all will be revealed…).
I got a call back from that psychotherapist woman yesterday, so I’m going to go and meet her on Wednesday. I don’t really feel one way or another about that.
