Home from Seattle! Okay really Kent, WA. :)

I got home today from a week in Seattle. I wish I could boast that I wrote thousands and thousands of words while I was gone, but that would be a total lie. That was my intention, but that isn't what happened. I went to support a friend who had surgery - he needed help with that, recovery, and walking his doggie, a wonderful Lab pupper named Cooper

Pretty bad not to go to Norwescon (since I'd paid for it) but that didn't seem to be where my place was. Next year though! Especially as my friend is one of the show-runners (not this year though of course).

I am ALL behind your LOTR posts too - I am just on chapter 9! So much to catch up with! :)

A friend of mine was talking about Scrivener, and how clunky it was to her - she uses Storyist, though it is Mac only. Says it is much easier and intuitive, and I thought of you. If you have a Mac, maybe check it out? There is a sale right now too.
