i'm sorry to hear about your nanna. i hope things work out,

something to think about - visit east meets west (chinese med clinic on high st and just before taronga in malvern) theo and cath have both done treatments for cancer patients..... speaking with cath last yr about it apparently patients who do chinese med when getting chemo have better chances of full treatments. longer and less side effects.

if nothing else call and have a chat with them some time about it. both are very good pracitioners.

Thanks hammer. i think I will give them a call to find out about it. It's a great idea, it'll probably help her so much, but I DUnno how nanna peg will take to trying it out - she's very much a 'tried-and-true' straight down the line hardcore catholic who doesn't like different things. But if I back it up with info it might convince her.
