Nerves and anxiety suck.

They fucking suck.

Especially when combined with and contributing to an already aggravating insomnia.

I lay down and my heart feels like it's going to pound out of my chest and I can't stop shuddering. Attempts to relax are futile, every noise distracts me. and I have work tomorrow, so it's particularly pressing that I ( Read more... )

That is absolutely awful. ;.; I'm so terribly sorry. I definately know the feeling, though, having suffered through both.

But seriously?

If it's that bad, you might want to see someone about it. I don't know if you're keen on being put on stress meds, but there's at least no shame in getting counceling for it. Goodness knows I nearly stressed myself into an early grave before I got ahold of myself, and consequentially it's probably a good idea for you to think about getting someone to look at it before you, too, enjoy such things as fainting spells and kidney disease. (Yay!)

It's a relatively recent thing; I think I had my first spell like that last weekend @_@.

I'm not particularly eager to jump into the usage of medication to solve this problem right away as it could be a random fluke because I was stressed out. But then again, anxiety attacks run in my family (my mom and my sister both have them) so perhaps I should.

Second opinions always help! Thank you!

Well, if it keeps up, then. Clearly, no, it'd be bad to jump into something like that!

But drugs aren't the only option. I got by with just counceling. It can be useful! (Though it probably wouldn't be very convenient for you--I had one one campus, so I didn't have to walk far. :P)
