Thoughts on the Paradise Kiss movie

I went and saw the movie tonight and am pleased to say that it was wonderful! I had my expectations built up quite a bit after seeing the preview a gazillion times, but it was even better than I was expecting. I won't spoil anything by summarizing, but it diverges from the manga a lot--especially the ending (so if you hated the ending of the manga

What kinds of goods were on sale at the theater?

Hmm, I don't know if they had anything for Paradise Kiss? I must confess that I don't pay much attention to movie-goods. ;)

Ah okay~ I'm at least going to get the pamphlet, but I really hope they have some clear files or cell phone straps (if not more!).

I remember seeing in an ad that there were going to be clear files packaged with some sort of promo DVD, but I think it was limited edition so not sure if they're still available. Also they were kinda boring looking :/ Yeah, I would love a cell phone strap though! Maybe one that looks like the butterfly ring? Ooh...

I'm always tempted by pamphlets but I can never bring myself to after forking over the yen for a ticket!

Ah, so late to the party! But I saw on the movie yesterday. I was a bit sad that they didn't follow the manga exactly, but thought it was a pretty solid movie otherwise. The clothes! The colors! The music! The acting was well done as well.

I will say, though, I was bummed about Miwako's clothing. And the lack of Happy Berry. But everyone else's clothing was great and adapted well to what we're seeing as fashion in Japan in right now.

Especially because of the story changes, I look forward to the subtitled version! haha
