I've got the main Chandler line back as far as records go (1195) and there's enough information on my mother's father's line to claim membership in the Daughters of the American Revolution - somewhere - no idea where I stashed it! No clue at all beyond great-grandparents on the Blue or Foster lines, though. Although I do have my mother (Joann's) mother (Isabelle's) mother (Eva's) marriage license (1908) framed in my dining room, and glued to the back of it, alas, was my great-grandfather's teacher's license; I could only display one of them. And I also have Eva's parents' marriage license framed next to Eva's; it's dated 1880. Pretty high on the coolness factor :)

Shame about your 3 times grandfather drinking away the family land. But I like the idea of having Viking blood.
I don't even want think about boilers. Ours still works, but yes that's going to cost an arm and leg. Sorry.
