These writings of mine are both based on Amber's novella, "A Tremor in Utopia". The first is a parody filled with cliches, which hardly follows her plot. The second is an alternate look -my look- at a scene she plans to post in the future:
It was the middle of the day. Lord Xytheria stood in triumph over those who had challenged him. Two boys and one woman lay in battered agony on the ground.
"He's just too powerful", gasped Aijel, who barely had the strength to talk.
Elay added, "If only Shas were here...".
"Yeah, he'd show that big jerk who's boss!", Vikashar chimed in, with as much enthusiasm as he could muster.
Xytheria raised his massive foot, laughed meniacally and prepared to crush his foes. "I only wish I had more of a challenge. When will you all learn, that no one can comprehend the power of Lord Xytheria?! I already put your little friend Perjautse in a coma, so you should have realized you didn't stand a chance! I'm quite bored with you now, so it's time to die!"
"Stop!"
Xytheria, Elay, Aijel and Vikashar all gave grunts of surprise, and looked in the distance.
There was a shadowy figure fast approaching.
"It's Shas! He's come to save us!" shouted Elay with glee.
Xytheria disgustedly said "Hmmph, another fool who wants to die."
Shas T Blu, who had recovered from a coma he suffered from his battle with Xytheria an hour ago, stood in defiant challenge. He eyed Xytheria with a determination none of his friends had ever seen before. It was like the 17 year old boy had suddenly become a man.
"You're going to pay for what you did to Perjautse, you psychopath! Now step away from my friends."
"Shasy my boy, I can kill them any time I wish. They're no threat to me. It's you I'm interested in. Your foolishness astounds me. After all, I beat you last time we clashed. what makes you think you can win now? You have a death wish, just like your wretched father and your ancestors.", seethed Xytheria.
Shas retorted, "I'll win because I have friends who believe in me! When a human being sets their mind to something, nothing can stop them!"
"You fool. I won't waste any time with you. I'll finish you with ease.", said Xytheria coldly.
A ferocious battle ensued. Shas and Xytheria seemed equally matched. They exchanged powerful blows, became locked in tests of strength where they pushed at eachother, and even arm wrestled. Neither could gain an advantage.
"It seems this isn't as easy for you as you thought it would be.", taunted Shas.
"Ah, my poor, stupid Saelen. I've merely been toying with you. Now I'll give you the pleasure of experiencing my full power!", said Xytheria. He promptly lit up like a Christmas tree, glowing with powerful energies.
"Oh no, he's been holding back the whole time! How can Shas possibly stand a chance against that?", Vikashar exclaimed.
Aijel replied, "He'll find a way. There's no way a monster could beat Shas."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
1,000,000,000,000,000 miles away, Wershiyatsmiz sat in meditation, monitoring the Ansana-shattering battle with his mind's special sensory abilities. He instantly felt the surge of Xytheria's energy, and at once became concerned about the outcome.
Keidlaralouge queried her husband, "What is it Wershy? What's happening?"
Wershiyatsmiz looked at his wife gravely. "It's Xytheria. He's never shown his full power until now...it's unbelievable. I've never sensed anything like it. I don't know if even Shas can beat him now."
Keidlaralouge jumped to her feet in concern, her modest EE cups bouncing slightly. "Shas still has a chance, right? There's no way he could lose to that creep Xytheria!"
"I don't know Keidy-kins...I don't know.", replied Wershiyatsmiz.
"Please be alright Shas. Please win.", said Keidlaralouge, a hopeful sparkle in her eye. She put her hand to her heart in worry. If she had been slightly well endowed like Aijel, she probably would've had a difficult time even reaching her ribcage.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"I told you, I'm not going to waste any time with you!", yelled Xytheria. He was holding Shas by his long, white hair, lightly slapping him in the face.
He then let Shas have some free shots, and was unscathed. He was trying to prove his superiority.
Elay was agape. "He's really not screwing around this time. He means business."
After two hours of biting, scratching and hair pulling, Xytheria had Shas laying beaten on the ground. "It's time to end this. You will die as quickly as you arrived here."
Xytheria pointed his hand at Shas from a distance, and prepared to fire a fatal beam through his chest. With a wicked smirk, he fired.
"Noooooooo!", shouted Aijel, who summoned the last bit of her strength, and threw herself in front of the beam. The beam pierced her left breast, but stopped.
"God damn you and your genes. HHH cup breasts won't save you from THIS, you bitch!", said Xytheria, as he fired a beam twice as powerful at the same spot.
The beam did it's job, going straight through Aijel's boobs, and finally her entire body.
Aijel fell at Shas's feet. "I love you Shas...please beat him..." Her eyes fell shut, and her head limp.
"Aijel, nooooooooooooooooooooo!", screamed Shas.
Xytheria further tortured his opponent. "Ha ha ha, yet another foolish mortal crumbles 'neath my superior power. Good riddance to such garbage."
"Damn you....you bastard. How can you be so cruel?", said Shas. The ground began cracking around him. His righteous rage was tumultuous, his power raising wildly.
"I won't...let you...hurt anymore of my friends Xytheria!", yelled Shas. His muscles began bulging sexily, his entire being changing.
"What...what's this?", whispered Xytheria.
Shas's white hair began shortening, eventually reaching the length of 6 inches and becoming a shade of dark brown. His solidly blue eyes produced visible brown pupils, and the rest of the blue turned white. In a world with rainbow colored people, this dull combination was quite extraordinary. Shas was hotter than before, and so were his power and rage.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wershiyatsmiz's eyes widened. This was unbelievable.
Keidlaralouge jumped at her husband's surprised state, her meager endowments bouncing. "What is it love?"
"For one thing, I wish Todd would quit writing you in such a fan-servicy way. For another: Shas's power is growing unbelievably! It's unbelievable!", replied Keidlaralouge's husband. "His power level dwarfs everything around him. I've never sensed anything like it before! He's also really hot looking now. Damn."
Keidlaralouge crushed her breasts to her ribs and gasped, "Could he be...?"
Wershiyatsmiz grumbled at Todd's pervertedness, "I can't say for sure. The last Saelen to reach a level of power even close to that barely managed to put Xytheria in a state of dormancy for 3000 years. But he died in the process. Shas's power is far greater than Xytheria's, but I just don't know if he even stands a chance against that psychopath. We must not jump to conclusions. He may not be *THE ONE* the prophecies speak of."
"But he has to be! He's out last hope...he can't lose!, said Keidlaralouge in worry.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Xytheria spat in disgust. "So your hair and eyes changed, and you bulked up your little muscles. Big deal."
Xytheria lunged at Shas, and landed a mighty blow against his cheek. The blow didn't so much as phase Shas, who in turn punched Xytheria hard in the gut.
Xytheria staggered backward in disbelief. "W-Who the hell are you? WHAT are you? You're so strong and good looking...your physique is picturesque. There's no way you could be...", he gasped.
Shas narrowed his eyes at Xytheria and spoke, "That's right. I am the hope of Ansana. I am the savior for the oppressed. I am a Super Saelen! Killing is wrong, and you kill people. Therefore I have to kill you!"
"No, it can't be! The Super Saelen of legend is nothing but a myth! There's no way you could be more powerful than me!", shouted Xytheria. With that, he desperately charged at his foe.
A one sided battle ensued. Xytheria tried his best, but Shas obviously outclassed him in every way. Within minutes, Xytheria was the one laying on the ground, his life hanging by a thread. Sensing impending doom, Xytheria pleaded for his life.
"Please...please spare me. I'm so sorry for what I've done. I never really wanted to kill anyone, I just had a bad childhood. My father always told me killing was good. You can't kill me though, you're one of the good guys! I promise I won't kill anymore, if you spare my life.", whimpered the 0\/\/N3D Xytheria.
Shas righteously retorted, "Why should I spare you, when you've NEVER shown mercy to anyone? ...Fine, I'll spare you. Because I'm not like you Xytheria, I'm better than that. But you must leave this planet, NOW."
"Ok, I will. Thank you, thank you.", said Xytheria.
With that, Shas turned his back to go help his injured friends. As he did, Xytheria reached for a hidden dagger in his cloak.
Xytheria whispered to himself, "Foolish Saelen. You can never beat me."
Xytheria smiled wickedly, reminiscent of Todd's evil picture. He then launched himself at Shas, dagger outstretched.
"Shas, look out!", Vikashar yelled at Shas.
Shas barely had time to turn "Huh...?"
Xytheria's dagger sunk into Shas's shoulder. The mighty Super Saelen crumpled to the groung, his strength sapped.
"Gaaaah!", yelled Shas.
Xytheria laughed triumphantly. "Ha ha ha ha! You're such a fool, to believe my sob story and spare me! I always knew your bleeding heart would be your downfall! Now savor your last seconds on Ansana, for you'll be joining your father soon enough! That's right, I killed your father!"
"You bastard! You should learn to fight fair!", shouted Elay.
Shas felt hopeless. The stab wound to his non-vital region had completely drained him of his strength-he was defenseless. There was no hope now..he had failed.
Suddenly, a voice talked to Shas inside his head. Not one of his crazy fucking illusions caused by the chemical imbalances in his brain, but a familiar voice.
"Shas, don't give up. You must never give up."
Shas was bewildered, "...Perjautse?"
"Yes Shas, it is me.", replied Perjautse...somehow.
"But you're in a coma. How could you be speaking to me?", asked Shas.
Perjautse responded, "Because of the platonic love between us. I can sense what's in your heart, even when I'm half dead. The bond between friends can never be broken, not even by a coma. Listen Shas, you can still beat Xytheria."
"I...I can't. He stabbed my shoulder, and now I'm powerless.", said Shas.
"No, don't tell yourself that. You have all the power you need to defeat him, because you have friends. You have the power of love. The only thing draining your strength...is your own self doubt", said Perjautse, sagely.
"Yes...I can do this. I can do this, because I can't let my friends down! I can't let my ancestors down!", shouted Shas with determination.
"Prepare to die, Saelen scum!", said Xytheria. He was charging up a huge blast of energy, in order to destroy Shas. He fired.
Shas caught the energy ball in his hands, barely holding it at bay.
Xytheria bristled, "Just die, fool!"
He poured more energy into the blast.
"No! I...won't...let you...hurt anymore innocent people!!!11111", said Shas with righteous fury.
He then unleashed his own energy blast. Slowly but surely, it pushed Xytheria's blast back at him. Xytheria fought desperetely, but eventually became overwhelmed by the two combined blasts.
"Nooooo! This...can't be! I am Lord Xytheria, no one can defeat me! Curse you Super Saelen!", were Xytheria's last words.
He was soon swallowed up by the horrendous energy.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"He did it! I can't believe it, he somehow pulled off the win!", Wershiyatsmiz shouted gleefully.
He stood up, took his wife in his arms, and jumped up and down with her.
"Wait Wershy, won't this cause that fan-service stuff you hate?", asked Keidlaralouge.
Wershiyatsmiz replied, "Forget it. I like to oggle you myself every so often. Our author isn't the only one."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In a hospital 999999999 miles away, Perjautse opened his eyes.
Eartha rushed to his side. "You're awake!"
"He...he won, didn't he?", asked Perjautse.
Eartha wiped a tear from her eye, "I was watching it on television. Yes, he won. He saved us all"
"I knew he could do it", said Perjautse. He closed his eyes and smiled.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Shas lay on the ground, exhausted. His friends were all standing above him, smiling. They helped him up.
"Ai...Aijel, you're alive?", asked Shas.
"But of course. You didn't think a little hole in my tits and ribcage would kill ME, did you? Saela has the finest plastic surgeons on Ansana, besides. And now that you've defeated Xytheria...they'll only be charging twice the normal price, instead of thrice. You're so great Shas, you saved us all", replied Aijel.
Shas shook his head, "No, we all did it. I felt you there with me...I couldn't have done it without you three. And Perjautse..."
Elay's bottom lip trembled, tears streaming down his face. "I thought I was gonna lose you! I love you so damn much, don't ever do that to me again!"
He punched Shas in the face, then hugged him tight.
"Don't worry my love, you'll never lose me", said Shas. He then embraced Elay back, and kissed him passionately.
The four friends soon departed, intent on seeing the revived Perjautse at the hospital.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the area the battle took place, a sinister energy stirred. Pieces of Xytheria began to merge together, eventually forming a face.
"I WILL have my revenge. Mark my words. HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!"
______________________________________________________________________
Aijel Deneblu stood across from a most formidable foe, dressed for combat. Her enemy had done terrible things. He'd killed countless people. Some were jobs for Lord Xytheria, others were out of joy or compulsions. Alot of it was due to psychological disorders he was afflicted with, yet that didn't matter. He was a loose cannon, *her* loose cannon, and he had to be stopped. Today, her nemesis was her 17 year old son.
She glared at him with her lilac eye. "We have unfinished business. You have something of mine."
Shas T Blu -or so he liked to be called- held up his mother's other eye on a chain, as if in answer. "Hello, mother dearest." Shas smiled tauntingly.
Aijel ignored his attempts to play with her mind. "Mirniel..."
Shas's smile faded. "Don't address me by that. The name is a bane unto my existence."
"Why do you hate me so much?", Aijel asked.
Shas's eyes remained transfixed on his mother. Such an eery stare, especially from this man, would be enough to unnerve almost anyone else. "Because it was thee who gave birth to me, bitch."
"Yes, I gave birth to you. I raised you, taught you moral and religious values. I kept you safe from a cruel world,-your entire family did. Yet in return, you...killed two thirds of your family, and marred me in unspeakable ways. Now you go around murdering people. You're an ungrateful fucking bastard.", Aijel accused. She didn't go into detail about how he raped her, then cut out her eye before running away. She saw no need to. They were both there when it happened.
Shas's malicious smile returned. "I do it for my beliefs, mother. I only do what thou hath taught me."
Aijel felt as though she had been slapped. Yet she didn't let it show. "I taught you to kill every single person you date?"
Shas's eye twitched. Her question seemed to confused him. The confusion was quickly replaced with affronted anger. "What? Don't accuse me of something you're uninformed of. Someone is following me, committing foul deeds. I shall seek this transgressor out, and cleanse the world of their evil."
Aijel was confused. Was this an act, or were his memory problems as severe as she’d pondered? Nevertheless, she couldn't focus on that right now. "It doesn't matter. I can't let you remain free. I'm going to get you the help you need, and eventually take you home with me."
Shas tightened his grip on the end of the chain, and trembled slightly. Be it anger or fear, Aijel could not determine.
"I possess all I require from home. I don't need nor desire to be there anymore. Take thy leave of me, mother. Now."
Aijel sighed. So it had to come to this, after all. She wasn't really surprised that he resisted. She was simply struck by the irony of the situation. This was Mirniel Ashastus Deneblu, her son. She kept him in her womb when several others demanded she purge him. For a long time, he was her world. His birth and existence saved what sanity she had left, after the horrors she had previously experienced. He'd possibly saved her life. In turn, she kept him safe from this crude fucking world.
And yet, he was responsible for the worst betrayal she had ever suffered.
How did it come to this? Weren't they happy once? Aijel thought back to such a time...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Aijel was out for a nature walk with her son. The wind was gentle yet cool, and the weather was pleasant.
Mirniel was such a curious soul. He wanted to know the name of every plant and flower he came across. Every insect which fluttered by fascinated him.
"What's that one called, mother?", asked her eager child.
"That's called Morning Breath, my son.", she replied.
Mirniel smiled. An insect landed on the flower, and climbed inside it's center. "What's it doing?", he pointed again.
"Oh, that's a honey bee. It's gathering nectar for it’s hive. It'll take as much as it can carry, then trasnport it back to the colony.", Aijel answered with her own smile.
The young boy caught sight of a beautifully colored garden bed, populated by varying plantlife.
"What're those? I wish to know what they all are! Please tell me mother!"
Aijel laughed. "We can't spend all day out here, Mirniel. Your stepfather and brother have been cooking for us while we were out. They probably have supper waiting on the table for us. You don't want it to be cold when you return, do you?"
"But mother, these will be the last ones, I promise. Then we can go home.", Mirniel said. He made pleading eyes at her.
Aijel gave in. It was usually impossible for her to refuse her son, when he gave her that face. His spirit was too bright to dampen. "Ok, ok. You silly, curious boy. I'll tell you about a few, but then we must return home. We can look up the rest in my botany book after supper."
"Thank you mother!", he said, then hugged her.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes, they'd shared their good moments. A healthy portion of their lives together hadn't been bad at all, to a point. So what happened? What was the first stone cast, to bring them to such a fate?
She'd mistreated him. She wasn't a perfect angel after escaping Xytheria. She was very angry, and she often misdirected her temper. Unfortunately, Mirniel was normally the only viable target to vent at. Sometimes he was the sole reason for her moods, but it was more often a result of her anger management problems. She was a large contributing factor to her son's eventual snapping.
That didn't excuse what he'd done, however. Mirniel could have sought help, yet he instead mirrored his mother's method for relieving emotional stress. Though it was quite amplified and on a different level from anything she'd done to her son. This was his fault as well. He lacked the discipline to handle his own problems.
Yet wasn't she somewhat responsible for his lack of discipline as well? She didn't imagine that hitting her son taught him how to control himself.
Nevertheless, he had to be stopped. It was her responsibility to save future victims from Mirniel, as well as Mirniel from himself. He had such gall that he might someday get himself in trouble with someone he couldn't handle, and get himself killed.
"I've had enough time with you, mother. I loathe thine company, and I loathe mine own existence. Be gone!", Shas shouted.
Aijel drew her sword expertly. "No. You're coming with me, one way or another. I'll kill you if I have to. I'm sorry Mirniel, but I'm stopping you now."
Shas quickly placed the eye and chain into his trenchcoat pocket. He looked nervous. He looked enraged. "As you wish, *mother*", he said, and drew his own sword.
Mother and son poised themselves to strike.
