I know this will be pretty pointless and err.. isn't going to be much help, but I just wanted to say that I think you're an awesome person. I don't think people would be better off without you at all... I mean, look at how much you help people everyday.. you're a great friend, and everyone screws up sometimes and hurts their friends without meaning to, but all those good times offset the one or two bad that pop up now and then, ne? It's just a shame you have to feel this way about yourself. =(
I think Al had a pretty good idea going there. You just have to feel good about yourself. There's no reason not to, with all of your friends backing you up. This actually seems like a serious emotional problem that you might want to get some real help to fix.

Alex made it sound like I should get "I'm the best!" carved into my mind. I'd rather not be an egomaniac, but that wasn't even the issue...at least, I don't think so. I'm working on the whole paranoia thing, and I'm aware that it's not bad that it's taking time. But I still hate what their remnants do while they're around.
Lisa, that didn't directly lead to me doing that. It might have reinforced it, but the feeling was already there-always has been. If I keep hurting people, I'm not going to keep myself in the position for it to continue happening.
