I feel the same way; that's why I tend to stay out of (LJ) communities, particularly if they carry high traffic. I try to stay out of real-life communities, too, for different but related reasons. :)

There are actually very definite reasons why too much Net reading is worse than too little, but 'twould take me some space to lay them out fully. I'll see if I can work it into a post of my own.

But !hey! I can't complain. I'm still on your flist; 'tis a consummation devoutly to be wished.
