Halloween Music (a repost from my website)

With Halloween being less than two weeks away, I’ve started to get in the spirit by compiling a list of songs.  When I think of Halloween music, it’s not neccesarily directly related to the holiday.  For example, Oingo Boingo - Dead Man's Party, Patsy Cline - Walkin’ After Midnight or the entire soundtrack of The Virgin Suicides are exellent songs

I don't know about Halloween, but I always listen to "Alice's Restaurant" by Arlo Guthrie on Thanksgiving...DET always plays it then and it always makes me feel turkey-like.

I never had Halloween music, but last weekend at Cedar Point I heard them play a bunch of Halloween music, and the very last song I heard is a song I already loved before that, but now it's totally fitting:

When were you at Cedar Point? I just went this past Saturday. I was really digging the music they were playing. Thats where I got the idea of Patsy Cline's After Midnight. It was stuck in my head the rest of the night.
