So I got my paramecia as my icon but I'm trying to find a mad scientist instead.

My guppies had babies again!  So now I have 14 guppies, bringing my PET fish total to 18.

For those (The Indian) who want to know the story behind the name, here it is.  One day, freshman year, a girl named Maia sat next to me in French class.  I soon switch out of ( Read more... )

Wow, I totally love being classified as, "The Indian." But knowing you Beebe, i shouldn't have been surprised by the LJ name!! I got my name from....yes, cricket. Vodafone sponsors the England cricket team, and my favorite player on that team has a jersey of 40, so up, put it together, and you have vodafone40. Pretty simple. (And if you're wondering why I have the english logo instead of the indian one, Sahara India just doesn't seem to fit into the scheme of things).

Well, Liz Hagerty set up my livejournal for me...but the reason it's spelled with a K and 2 A's is as follows:

In eighth grade, we had this horrible PE teacher named Mr. Aronchick. He was very sexist and always put the girls in the "nonskilled" groups. But anyway, he's from New York and always pronounced my name as "Caaaaaroline." Liz, Maia and I all thought that was hilarious so they started calling me Caaaaaroline, and it's stayed that way.

The K part came later; in ninth grade PE, there were two Carolines in the class: me, and Caroline Kaufman. Liz and I called the other Caroline "Caroline with a K" to avoid confusion. But of course, Maia got confused, and thought that we meant her first name was spelled with a K. Karoline. So my user name is a combination of these two spellings.

I just realized that both nicknames came from PE classes. I'm cool. But not as cool as you, paramecibee.
