Summary: Cloud has received the call from Shera about Zack and Aerith, Marlene eavesdropping and questions Cloud.
Hearing someone come in through the door had woken Marlene up from her sleep. She had been reading and fallen asleep on her bed. Sitting up slowly, her hair sticking up a bit from sleeping, and she rubbed at her eyes as she continued to listen. She had always been a light sleeper, especially when it was just her and Denzel home. She wondered who could be downstairs, and she looked over to the other bed to see Denzel passed out as on his bed. She let out a long yawn as she slid off her bed and quietly made her way to the door of the bedroom her and Denzel shared. Poking her head out, she strained her ears to hear who was downstairs, and she immediately recognized the quiet tone of Cloud. Making her way slowly down the hallway to the stairs, she continued to listen as she carefully placed one foot on a step at a time. She pouted a bit when she realized she wasn't getting much from listening, for Cloud really wasn't saying much to the person he was on the phone with. She finally reached the last step, and stood there hesitantly as she heard Cloud hang up the phone. She chewed on her bottom lip for a moment, then hopped lightly off the last step and walked into the bar area where Cloud was.
"Hi Cloud." She walked over to him hesitantly, looking up at him now with her wide brown eyes. "When did you get home?" The last thing she had heard him say was he would see someone later, and she wondered who that person was. And did that mean he was going to be leaving again? "Where are you going?"
