Last year was AP Language and Composition...instead of analyzing rhetorical strategies we're suddenly asked to analyze narrative techniques and write our own critical responses.

Kersting is a FUCK, Susanna. I'm not even kidding you, dont listen to ANYTHING that man has to say. He doesn't like creativity in his students because he says it's not the standard way of writing which is what he grades on. Just make sure everything is grammatically correct and boring and cliche and you'll be fine and dandy. SERIOUSLY.

p.s- YOU'RE SO DAMN HARD ON YOURSELF!! You're above average in EVERYTHING you do, including your grades in school (and I know you don't think you are, but try hanging out with more people besides the AP kids and you will soon feel very, VERY smart.) This essay is something you haven't even LEARNED before, you're NOT retarded, you're just ignorant to the situation and it is NOT your fault. THIS. DOES. NOT. MEAN. YOU. ARE. RETARDED. Got it?
