I'm inclined to say JC, since who knows how much longer you'll be returning to Buck's rock after you start going to college, and wouldn't you like to be able to say you were a counselor at some point? (I don't know... I just regret never having been a JC. And I feel it would be very difficult for me to return at this point.)
You don't have to decide! Apply to be both, if you really can't! Isn't that an option? THEY can decide for you!
If you want my advice, I really thought my second CIT year was a great experience (drama nonwithstanding). I would recommend being more than just a one-year CIT. But if you want to be a JC, then you should. Everyone is different.
See, I really want to be a CIT again, but my parents want me to be a JC, and I was also potentially offered a really awesome summer job at LVP. So...I'm torn.
Hmm. That is a pickle. I know that I decided to be a JC next year instead of doing a summer job at PGT, under the rationale that I will have had PGT all year, and Buck's Rock I only can do during the summer. With CIT-ness that argument is even more pressing--you can always get some kind of job, at Buck's Rock or LVP, but you can only be a CIT for so much longer.

Yeah, but taking the LVP job and staying home would mean spending my last summer at home with my last real LVP experience, whereas perhaps after freshman year I could apply to be a JC? Oy...yeah and it seems chimerical (*grin*) to think that I could be hired as a first year theatre JC after only one CIT year and with so many others applying. Argh...I'd LOVE to be a CIT again, but I'd feel like Mattias being probably the only CIT out of highschool and my parents wouldn't be happy with paying with camp before paying for college and argh...quite a pickle indeed.
And on top of all that, the CIT/JC application is due smack in the middle of college app. season. On that note, how was Northwestern? Where else are you looking?
