Baekhyun is staring at Tao the next day at lunch. There's only Baekhyun, Chanyeol, Lay and Minseok seated with him while Kris falls in line for the both of them.
"W-what...?"
Baekhyun raises an eyebrow and crosses his arms over his chest, "Scarf." Is the only thing he says.
Tao raises an eyebrow, he follows Chanyeol's gaze when the said boy takes a look at Kris then whispers something on Baekhyun's ear. The shorter boy nods, "Kris has a bruised lip."
"Huh?"
Lay and Minseok groans when the both of them realizes where Chanyeol and Baekhyun is getting at with Tao. "Lastly, he's subtly guiding you to walk. He won't even let you fall in line for food." Baekhyun speaks with conviction, he leans over and sniff at Tao, "Hyung!"
"Smells like sex."
"Oh dear god." Minseok facepalms and Tao turns beet red, "Hyung, can we not?"
Baekhyun takes a look at Kris and he's about 3 students behind before he pays, he turns his attention back to the Chinese maknae, he pulls down the scarf a little and gasps, "Was he planning to put a map on your neck?!"
"Hyung! Everybody's gonna stare!" Tao mumbles as he fixes his scarf again. Baekhyun scoffs then looks at Tao with eager eyes and whispers, "How was it? Was he great in bed? Is he huge?"
"Baekhyun! People are trying to eat!" Lay screams and Baekhyun just shrugs it off, "Hyung, we all have dicks here."
"Dear god, not everybody's interested in dicks." Minseok facepalms again as he groans, "Baekhyun, please. Chanyeol, can't you do something about your boyfriend?"
"I can. But I don't want to." Chanyeol smiles and Baekhyun kisses his boyfriend's cheek in approval. The tall Korean turns to Tao, "Details!"
"Please don't bully my boyfriend." Kris' voice cuts in and he slides next to Tao. Baekhyun raises an eyebrow and pouts like a diva, "Please don't smell like sex."
Kris laughs and just shakes his head, "Please get laid soon."
"Please! We can probably do it now in one of the cubicles in the restroom upstairs." Chanyeol challenges Kris and Tao buries his face in his hands.
"Please stop, all of you. Just eat your lunch." Minseok cuts the conversation and Lay thanks him because he's probably gonna throw up before he finishes his food if the banter doesn't stop.
"Oh! Tao! Aren't you supposed to look for a new roommate?" Chanyeol asks, the couple across him looks at each other but he doesn't mind, "My older sister's friend's younger sister's boyfriend's bestfriend is coming here soon and is looking for a place to stay."
"Say that again? I kind of lost it halfway." Lay tells Chanyeol and so he did. The Chinese dancer scrunches his brows in confusion, "Last. Again?" Chanyeol lets out an exasperated sigh and repeats it. Lay only looks more confused and totally lost. Minseok pats the bedimpled Chinese's shoulder and shakes his head, "Stop trying to understand, Lay."
Kris waves his hand in the air, "Does... Whatever boyfriend's bestfriend has a name? Because really, Chanyeol? Couldn't you have just given a name earlier?"
"Stop bullying my boyfriend!" Baekhyun raises his voice and Kris looks at him nonchalantly, the blond Chinese raises an eyebrow, "Excuse me? Who's bullying who?"
"Can we go back to the topic, please?" Tao cuts Baekhyun and Kris' staring showdown and Chanyeol claps his hands in excitement because the attention is back to him.
"Baek, you remember Gongchan?" Chanyeol asks and Baekhyun nods, "That really handsome boy from our neighborhood? Yeah, I do."
"He's transferring next sem here and he's already looking for a place to stay. I think he should stay with Tao."
"With me?" Tao asks, "Why with me?"
Chanyeol browses his phone and shows a picture of Gongchan from the boy's cyworld to Tao, "He's extremely handsome and you live alone. You might like him."
Kris grabs the phone unceremoniously and throws it back to Chanyeol who fortunately has fast reflexes and catches it immediately, "Excuse me, Park Chanyeol. Boyfriend here. He's not gonna live with that Gongchan whatever."
Chanyeol pouts and then browses his phone again, "I heard Zelo's moving here too. You think you can room with him? He's cute with big eyes."
"Are you giving him a roommate or are you trying to set up Tao with another guy?" Minseok asks, "If the love marks and the fact that Kris is right here isn't evident enough that he's got a boyfriend, I don't know what is."
"What? My boyfriend's just trying to get Tao a roommate. It's a plus if said roommate's cute, right?" Baekhyun defends his boyfriend and Lay had to stop Kris from lunging at Baekhyun and maybe kill the shorter Korean in the process.

It's Saturday morning and the couple is in the mall looking for the rest of the stuff they need for the apartment. "I can't believe we're moving in tomorrow." Tao exclaims as they browse for a corkboard.
"Yeah. We have to set up that bed first." Kris takes one of the designs they chose and looks for other things inside the department store. They head to the pans and pots section, Tao excitedly looks for the ones he can use for cooking, "I can only shop this morning though. I haven't had the time to pack and I'd rather study later at night. I'm way behind and I have an exam Monday morning."
"How many exams do you have on Monday?" Kris takes a box of kitchen utensils and puts it in the cart. Tao replaces it with another color he prefers, "Just one. I have two on Tuesday though. You?"
"One on Monday and Tuesday. Two on Wednesday."
"Yeah... The bed has to be set up first." Tao comments, "We can unpack the rest slowly everyday anyway."
"Great. We can study in Grandia for the mean time. I can tutor you there."
Tao hums in response and checks the stuff in the shopping cart. He checks the list on his phone and smiles, "We got everything we need."
"Let's head to the supermarket before we head home." Kris suggests, "We can buy the groceries for the week. We can buy dried food first since we're still unpacking. We can live off cereals and pancakes for breakfast for a while, I guess. Lunch and dinner, we'd have to eat out until we're settled."
Tao looks left and right, once he's sure that nobody's around, he tiptoes and kisses Kris lightly on the lips, "It really is a 'we' now."
Kris smiles and holds his boyfriend's hand as they push the cart, "Yes it is."

The couple arrives at the building early morning that Sunday to move all their stuff inside. Some tenants of the building are gracious enough to help them move the heavier objects such as Kris' acquired 54" HD TV from Zhou Mi (it comes with a PS3, tons of games, and surround system speakers). Once all of their boxes are scattered inside the living room, the couple decides that the bedroom needs to be set up first.
Kris eyes the mattress then Tao, the blond suddenly corners his boyfriend against the wall and leans closer, "How about we..."
"NO." Tao pushes Kris off him, "Tons to do, remember? And exams!"
"Right. Sorry, babe."
The two of them starts with the frame, making sure that it's screwed tightly and sturdy after putting it all together according to the manual/instructions guide. They lift the mattress to the bedframe once they're sure they got it right. They then proceed to jump on the bed to check if it will fall down with their combined weight, "Tao, let's check it by..."
"NO! KRIS WU!"
"Just teasing you."
Tao hits his boyfriend's arm before skipping out of the room. He checks the shopping bags from yesterday and brings in the huge bags for the bedroom, "Here, take care of these." Tao pushes the huge bags to the bed where Kris is sitting, the blond checks it to find pillows, bedsheets, pillow covers and blankets. "I'll set this up." Tao tells Kris as he pulls out the curtains for the windows.
They do each of their tasks and after a few minutes their bedroom is slowly coming together. They set up the rest of the stuff for the bedroom - their respective bedside tables and lamps, the drawers, and their double-sized study desk. They place their clothes in the cabinets, they set up their books and laptops on the desk. They make sure they finish the bedroom first before getting out of the said room. A few hours later, the two of them are standing in the middle of the room looking around, "Amazing..." Kris comments and Tao nods. The shorter of the two runs out of the room and looks for something in one of his boxes, after he finds it he walks back to the bedroom and takes an instax shot of the room with Kris standing in the middle of it and his hand doing a peace sign at the edge of the frame.
Tao puts the film and camera on his bedside table then checks his watch, "IT'S ALREADY 2PM?! We haven't eaten and I haven't studied anything."
"Relax. Get a shower, we'll head out for late lunch and continue studying." Kris ruffles his boyfriend's hair and Tao nods.
They go to Grandia to eat their late lunch and study for the exams they have for tomorrow. Most of the time, the two of them are just minding their own business but occassionally, Tao asks the older for help. Hours later, the older calls it a day, "Let's have dinner somewhere else."
Tao nods lazily, gathers his books and laptop, and stuffs it all inside his bag. Kris does the same before they head out of the cafe. They eat their dinner in a small noodle house across their apartment building in silence. Their brains are currently shut down due to information overload so they don't talk to each other. Once they're done they head up to the apartment where the two of them walk like zombie to the bathroom to wash up then they head to the bedroom.
They lie on their bed, Tao snuggles close to Kris the moment their skins touch, "I'm so tired, ge..."
"Then go to sleep. Good night, babe."
Tao leans up, kisses Kris on the lips then lies his head on the older's chest, "Goodnight..." And just like that the younger falls asleep like a switch has been turned off in his body. Kris reaches out for the instax camera from the bedside table, the younger is too exhausted to wake up from the older's movements. After getting the camera, he readjusts Tao's position on his chest, gives him a kiss on the head before putting up a victory sign and taking their picture together. He puts the film and camera on his bedside table then hugs Tao tighter before joining his boyfriend in dreamland.

Tao arrives at Grandia earlier than Kris on Monday. He finished his exams early and though he might not be able to ace it, he's pretty sure he'll be passing it. All his friends decide not to group study anymore since it's the crucial week so he's left alone to wait. He finds an empty booth in one corner of the cafe and sets his bag there before ordering his late lunch.
Kris arrives 30 minutes later and Tao is already halfway through his food. He kisses the younger's cheek first before ordering his own lunch.
"It's already 2. How about I tutor you for two hours first?" Kris asks as he eats. "You're not gonna study?" Tao responds with another question.
"Let's focus on you first." Kris replies, "Then you can go home and unpack the rest of your things. Don't stress out on the other stuff we still need to set up just focus on yours.I'll study alone here for two hours too then I'll go home and unpack too."
"That's fair. I actually want to get rid of the rest of the boxes in the living room as fast as possible." Tao agrees and leans his head on Kris shoulder as the older starts to tutor him.
Hours into studying, the bell chimes by the door and the Kris looks up - they get distracted whenever a new customer enters that Tao tries to ignore it completely now. "It's hyung." The older tells Tao as he points towards Luhan standing by the entrance. The raven-haired boy manages to wave his hand awkwardly at Luhan, Kris smiles and nods to acknowledge his presence. Tao tenses up beside Kris when Luhan walks up to their table and stops across them.
"Hi, hyung." Kris starts, "Where's Sehun?"
"Home. He's studying too and I was hungry and he didn't wanna come with me, so I just.. I'm sorry, I'm rambling." Luhan smiles then turns to the younger boy, "And hi, TAO." There's a bite on Tao's name but the youngest tries not to flinch and manages to smile, albeit awkwardly. "Hi, g-gege."
Tao inwardly panics, it's torturing to be scrutinized under the watchful eye of his angel-faced friend. Or it could be Tao overreacting to Luhan's action's towards him, but he's still honestly scared of the older boy when it comes to his relationship with Kris. 'If only things were simplier.' he sighs to himself then tries his best to look busy studying his notes.
"So," Luhan starts as he sits across Kris, "looks like you aren't studying too." The blond smiles and stretches his back before wrapping one arm on Tao's waist, "I do. But I'll tutor him for the first two hours and then the next 2 will be my studying time here alone."
"You're left alone?" Luhan asks, completely ignoring the fact that Tao is just next to Kris, the younger appreciates becoming invisible a little to keep himself from hyperventilating. The ravenhaired boy tries to ignore the whole conversation taking place around him.
"Well, yeah. It was a bad decision for this week but I insisted. When Tao-er is done reviewing he'll go back to our place to unpack. We haven't finished unpacking yet so our place is a huge mess to study in."
Tao's eyes widen when he realizes what his boyfriend is telling Luhan. "Wait! Kris-ge! Don't!" Tao bolts up and covers Kris' mouth.
Luhan's eyes widen in shock, while Tao's eyes widen in fear. After a few seconds, Luhan asks, "Our place? Unpacking?"
Kris nods then removes his boyfriend's hand from his mouth, "Yeah. We moved in together yesterday. We live a couple of blocks away from here."
Tao sighs in defeat then buries his face in his palms, not meeting Luhan's gaze. The younger just hears him say goodbye only to Kris, 'Ah, I see. I - I see... Uh, look at the time... I just. I have to... Uh, bye.' and then he hears him walk away.
"Tao-er, is something wrong?" Kris asks, patting his boyfriend's back whose face is still buried in his palms. "I'm fine. Just... Stressed from all these studying."
Kris sighs and it's becoming more and more obvious that it's Luhan who likes him. He kisses his boyfriend's shoulder to calm him. "Are you sure? You can tell me anything. Everything."
"I'm fine." Tao smiles and starts packing his bag, "I'll see you at home?"
"What do you want for dinner?"
"Hmn..." Tao thinks for a moment, "I'm sick of noodles and pizza. I want something Persian."
"Persian. Kebab?"
"Perfect." Tao kisses his boyfriend's cheek before sliding out of the booth. Kris watches his boyfriend walk out of the cafe hunched over with his head down. He hopes Tao opens up about Luhan soon so they can work things out, maybe he could talk to the older Chinese without hurting Tao and Luhan's relationship. For now, all Kris can do is be nice to Luhan, hope that he gives up eventually and maybe Tao can re-establish his relationship with his friend.

Tao inwardly panics, it's torturing to be scrutinized under the watchful eye of his angel-faced friend. Or it could be Tao overreacting to Luhan's action's towards him, but he's still honestly scared of the older boy when it comes to his relationship with Kris. 'If only things were simplier.' he sighs to himself then tries his best to look busy studying his notes.
"So," Luhan starts as he sits across Kris, "looks like you aren't studying too." The blond smiles and stretches his back before wrapping one arm on Tao's waist, "I do. But I'll tutor him for the first two hours and then the next 2 will be my studying time here alone."
"You're left alone?" Luhan asks, completely ignoring the fact that Tao is just next to Kris, the younger appreciates becoming invisible a little to keep himself from hyperventilating. The ravenhaired boy tries to ignore the whole conversation taking place around him.
"Well, yeah. It was a bad decision for this week but I insisted. When Tao-er is done reviewing he'll go back to our place to unpack. We haven't finished unpacking yet so our place is a huge mess to study in."
Tao's eyes widen when he realizes what his boyfriend is telling Luhan. "Wait! Kris-ge! Don't!" Tao bolts up and covers Kris' mouth.
Luhan's eyes widen in shock, while Tao's eyes widen in fear. After a few seconds, Luhan asks, "Our place? Unpacking?"
Kris nods then removes his boyfriend's hand from his mouth, "Yeah. We moved in together yesterday. We live a couple of blocks away from here."
Tao sighs in defeat then buries his face in his palms, not meeting Luhan's gaze. The younger just hears him say goodbye only to Kris, 'Ah, I see. I - I see... Uh, look at the time... I just. I have to... Uh, bye.' and then he hears him walk away.
"Tao-er, is something wrong?" Kris asks, patting his boyfriend's back whose face is still buried in his palms. "I'm fine. Just... Stressed from all these studying."
Kris sighs and it's becoming more and more obvious that it's Luhan who likes him. He kisses his boyfriend's shoulder to calm him. "Are you sure? You can tell me anything. Everything."
"I'm fine." Tao smiles and starts packing his bag, "I'll see you at home?"
"What do you want for dinner?"
"Hmn..." Tao thinks for a moment, "I'm sick of noodles and pizza. I want something Persian."
"Persian. Kebab?"
"Perfect." Tao kisses his boyfriend's cheek before sliding out of the booth. Kris watches his boyfriend walk out of the cafe hunched over with his head down. He hopes Tao opens up about Luhan soon so they can work things out, maybe he could talk to the older Chinese without hurting Tao and Luhan's relationship. For now, all Kris can do is be nice to Luhan, hope that he gives up eventually and maybe Tao can re-establish his relationship with his friend.

Okay, i'm gonna breathe for a while. i couldnt start with my other fic's update because TaoRis keeps slapping me hard with feels. They keep dating and shimmying and just plain inseparable these days.
