Summary: Phone signal's a bitch. Not a single text message or phone call from him. I hate worrying like this. If this goes for another half an hour I'm really going to be more scared than worried.

I twitched and shook my head in frustration as I wait outside the studio for him. I can see white fog coming out of my mouth as i breathe and even if i keep smoking, I can still feel the cold weather creep inside me, the nicotine stick cant even warm me up one bit.
Phone signal's a bitch. Not a single text message or phone call from him. I hate worrying like this. If this goes for another half an hour I'm really going to be more scared than worried.
I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw his car pulled in front of me, he went down from the vehicle smiling ear to ear I felt a little angry, i didnt know if he was mocking me, or he's just unaware that he was late.
"Where are the others?" He asked, looking around the empty parking lot and the closed studio behind me. I heaved.
"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?! YOU'RE LATE! THEY ALREADY WENT AHEAD WITH THE STAFF'S VAN!"
"Wah... sorry! I thought we'd all be together in one car that I stopped over a supermarket and bought a lot of snacks, mou... sorry Umi..."
Oh, Rui. How can i even stay mad at you when you're looking like that?
"Let's just go. We're already late as it is..." I went around and opened the passenger door, he takes the driver's seat and started the car.
It will be a long drive, and even longer now that the snow started falling, save that we're already inside the car, or else I'd definitely have a huge fit if I get caught up in snow outside. I cant really tolerate the cold.
But i can tolerate him.

I felt a nudge on my shoulder, trying to wake me up, I must've fallen asleep.
"...Umi..."
I forced myself to wake and i saw him pouting with worried eyes.
"What is it Rui?"
"We're stuck..."
"Stuck where...?"
"My car can't move anymore... I think the snow's higher in this area..."
"You're kidding me..."
"No. Seriously, we're stuck here."
I turned around and wiped the mist off my window and saw that we're in the middle of nowhere, the sun has began to set and it's pretty obvious if no help can come, we're spending the night here, if we dont die from freezing that is.
"Have you tried calling the others for help?" I asked, trying to hide how worried i am.
He nodded his head, "But the signal's still dead..."
Ok. We can't panic. We can probably survive tonight. I rolled down the window a little and started smoking, he does the same.
We were silent for a while, and the only sound we can hear is the howling of the trees and the two of us breathing.
"You said you bought food, right? We should probably eat so we can have some energy..." I suggested. You nodded vigorously, it's almost funny. I saw you smile at me while you reach out to the plastic bags with food lying on the backseat.
"So, do you want a sandwich or a croissant?"
"I'd eat whatever you're not eating."
"I'll take the croissant then..." He said then handing me the sandwich.
"We should probably turn off the radio and heater to save the car's battery from running out." I said after swallowing my first bite off the bacon sandwich he bought.
"Aren't we gonna die from freezing?"
"No. I have no plans of dying yet."
"If you say so." He shrugged his shouders and turned off the car's engine. The coldness coming in from the small space on our windows suddenly rush in and it's getting colder by the second.
"Brrr... cold." He exclaimed, rubbing his hands together then placing it on his face.
I turned away from him and looked outside through my window's small opening, "The snow's getting higher but I'm still glad it doesnt look like a blizzard's coming though..."
I closed the window and heard him laugh when he saw me.
"What?"
"Don't move..." he leans forward to me, his hand reaching for my face, he smiles when he finally removed whatever's settled on my nose.
"Snowflakes..."
"Must've came inside when i peeked outside."

It's been two hours now and the area has turned dark, there are some light posts lined outside but it's become a little faint due to the weather. We were able to talk a lot of nonsense, nonsense in a good way, and I'm glad to know a lot more about him.
"It's getting colder... Aren't you cold?" he asked, rubbing his hands harder now.
"I am but dont worry. Come on let's move to the backseat." I said, he immediately follows. He removed the plastic bags of food from the seat and placed it on the floor, i then sat next to him, grabbing a huge towel i brought from home.
"Here. Use this." I placed the towel on him, making sure his arms are covered well.
"How about you? This is yours anyway..."
"Dont worry about me."
"Hey! If you froze to death I'd be scarred forever."
"I'll be fine."
"No. Here..." He moved closer to me, too close for comfort, and shared half of the towel and placed it over me, i didnt hesitate though. There's something about him that makes me want to really get closer to him, and i'm liking the feeling of taking care of him without worrying about the others. This time it's just me and him.
I just hope we really dont die tonight.
"Umi, look..." He pointed towards the horizon, i looked to where he's pointing and saw vast sea of stars twinkling in the sky. I sighed. I never saw the night sky this beautiful before.
"A shooting star.... Make a wish, Rui."
"But it already happened."
"What do you mean?"
"I got to spend some time alone with you..."
"Huh?"
He giggled, covering his face with his hands, making me more confused than a second ago.
"What is it Rui?"
He bit his lower lip, trying to restrain the giggles coming out of him.
"I always wished to be with you alone."
"Eh?"
It was taking a lot of time for my mind to process what he said, could it be the weather? Is he starting to see, hear, and say things he doesnt mean?
He pulls himself away from me and leaned on the car's door, his arms crossed on his chest, "You know, even if we're stuck here now, I cant believe i'm happier than worried. At least today i'm the only one you're taking care of and worried about."
Can he read minds? I've been thinking about this just a while ago...
"You're a bit hard to get alone, you know...?"
"Aren't you too?"
"Huh?"
"Ive been wanting to spend some time with you alone too."
"Really?" He smiled widely, he's obviously getting giddy about it, and it's making me embarrassed. I feel sweaty even if it's almost zero degrees now.
How can he be so calm about this? Instead of thinking of ways to get out of here, he's more concerned now with what i just said.
"Soooo... you like me too?"
"...We should go to sleep."
"MOUUUUU... answer me." He smiles at me, waiting for any answer that he obviously knows by now, but just wants to hear it from me directly. He crawls his way back to me, pouting, eager for whatever i say.
I snickered, he's so carefree.
"Yes. I do."
"Great."
He leans closer and gave me a kiss, taking me by surprise, but after lingering the sweetness of his lips, I leaned forward to him, pinning him under me as he lie on the seat, I can feel his hands brushing my hair, i can feel him breathe heavier.
"Ouch... You bit me Rui..." I whispered.
"Sorry.. i couldnt help it." He smiled, and pulls me again for a kiss. I pulled away after a few seconds of exchanging of saliva and a number of heaves, furrowing my brows and listening to my surroundings.
"Why are you stopping...?"
"My phone's ringing..."
"Nevermind that... I still want to kiss you."
"Heh." I gave him a kiss on the nose and sat up, reaching for my bag that was left on the passenger's seat. It's Tomo.
"Hello...?" I answered the phone, and i sat back beside Rui who locked himself on my waist and giving me kisses on my neck. I motioned Rui to stop, he pouted and hugged me tighter, his head settling on my chest.
"WHERE ARE YOU GUYS?! WE'RE GETTING WORRIED!"
"Dont shout Tomo! I can hear you well. We're stuck somewhere. But I'm pretty sure this road we're in is leading to where you guys are now..."
"Ok, dont move there. Our van's coming back to get you guys. Damn it. Cant you two even call?"
"Hey, signal's fluctuating, be thankful you got through. We'll just wait here. Bye."
I hang up and gazed outside and saw another shooting star, and just like him, i didnt make a wish, because seeing him sleeping soundly on my chest, i know it already came true.
