As promised, the next chapter. I guess this one is a bit transitional, and does not yet feature any surprising relevations or explanations. However, if you look for the clues - they are there. ^__^ Furthermore, I hope the formatting and the links work as supposed, seeing as my connection is being a little shaky again.

Tezuka is going to have to adapt to being a demon first, before he can do anything about it. Or anything about Fuji. Though time might be... short ;)
Thank you for reading!

When had he stopped keeping his promises? Where had he failed? Tezuka... *hugs him*
But really, are you just going to leave Fuji behind there like that. *shakes head*
Well, I'm really curious to see what's going to happen next! :-)

Tezuka is going to do something about Fuji. Once he has gotten his head wrapped around the situation... though that is pretty confusing for him right now. ^^

Tezuka, you are FAIL at being the hero. Faily Mc. Fail Fail. Srsly. "Oh look, I'm an all-powerful demon suffering from severe trauma and teenage mid-life crisis! What?? Saving the Martyr from a crumbling dimension?? I think I'll go swimming instead."
Plus, you need to check your magical boyfriend for a pulse, Romeo. This is how people got accidentally buried alive in the Middle-Ages. Rule #1: Always Bury Your Friends With a Cell Phone.
OH WAIT HOLD ON can he travel in time? 'CAUSE THAT WOULD BE +1000 AWESOME. Hopefully Grandpa Tezuka has recovered from his swoon with no brain damage and he and Yumiko will have written up The Dummy's Guide To Operating Your Shiny New Demon Body by the time he gets back. Better yet, he pops back out right as Fuji's making his Moment-Of-Insanity and Fuji doesn't even have to get wet. I'm rooting for that possibility.
UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE!!! :DDDD We all need something to fill the time 'till the next PH update! <3

Tezuka is being a bit confused right now... what with having Fuji die on him, the entire other dimension stuff, the demon and him somehow being turned into a demon (and nobody there to explain things to him, now that Fuji is gone). So yes, he might be acting like a confused, angsty teenager.
As to how the entire thing is going to be resolved... well, time travel might perhaps not be involved, but I guess the explanation might still be a bit out there. ^^ And speaking of out there...
only five more days until the next chapter of PH! YAYYYYYY!

The big explanations might have to wait a little longer - until the protagonists manage to gather themselves a bit better. For now, Tezuka is rather confused - he realizes he has changed, but does not understand the demon powers yet. And as the ceremony did not work perfectly, he also retained a part of his humanity.
Yumiko's ability to help is going to hinge largely on Fuji's condition. She might be calm, but in face of the rather grave events she might have to sort out her own emotions first.
And while the following chapter is lacking in big explanations, there are going to be some. Your guesses are also headed into a very, very good direction. Mori isn't entirely out of the picture yet, after all.

Tezuka as a demon, I didn't quite expect that transformation, but I hope with his new gained power he would be able to use it to eventually revive Fuji. I am hoping you wouldn't leave Fuji dead.
As I've mentioned...such a great story Mona-chan!
