[The reply is binary, also:

Good morning. Your power is not absolute. Have a nice day. ]

[Mirror!Vasilia has a rather lively defiant streak too... just more playful than everyone's favorite paranoid.]

[Cue another reply: "If the government becomes a law breaker, it breeds contempt for law; it invites every man to become a law unto himself."

Chances are this could go on for hours.]

[Of what value is a government that does not serve the least of its citizens?]

[Vasilia doesn't have a store of quotes, but she does have strong opinions.]

[It keeps the system going.

And he is constantly on about how good the system is. This could be an interesting conversation.]

Losers? Seems rather childish.

What do you want to observe? If you're going to get in the way, then no.

Eh. I was tired of my usual Shaw and subtle attempts at controlling individuals. It's an off day.

I'm writing a program relating to reaction times. I'm varying it across species, but it has some pretty exciting potential implications.

A perfect system is one where I'm at the top and everyone does what I want. Duh.

What do you want me to watch now? Is it arts and crafts time or some shit?

Exactly. I want to encourage this behavior, but you are still far too hands on Slick.

[headshake] You really kind of have to learn to take joy in watching other people cause suffering in addition to what you do yourself. You want to spend the rest of your life in jail?

No.

[And he sounds aloof and completely and utterly callous.] What the hell is wrong with you?

Jail? You think anyone would throw me in jail? Not in my town. My family controls all the cops there.

Wait. Hang on, you're saying you don't want me to do community service or be nice or channel my urges into something positive or whatever shit's usually pushed around here?

I think there's something wrong with you, buddy, not me, but I'm totally okay with it this time.

And you think so small. Your father prepared you for a career in power and you are stuck thinking in terms of your town when it could be your world which is why you're still here.

[He raises an eyebrow] Right.

I'm hoping for something a little less visceral that you can observe. Psychological.
