wow, i just now logged on to find old wedding pictures and i stumbled upon all these vast layers of nostalgia. i am actually a little jealous of my self from back then... actually, i think my high school posts embarass me most. so emo...

i guess if you ever check this again--how've you been?

HELLO!! I'm bored at work and was so happy to see your LJ name when I popped on in here to see who commented. I'm still too scared/self-conscious to peel back the layers of the past and re-read some of the old stuff... it literally feels like reading somebody else's diary. Very unsettling. But goodness, we kept such records of our lives on this site--multiple entries a day, details of what was eaten at meals, how many pages of calculus homework. All the important details! (Which I say with sarcasm now, but it's funny how, years ago, those sorts of things *were* some of the most important issues we faced day-to-day.)

I've been mostly good lately! Living/working in Boston. Trying to make rent on time each month. How are you m'dear?? It's seriously wonderful to hear from you. I was actually thinking about you recently because I was thinking of picking up my violin and practicing. (I didn't.)

Ohhh it is tempting. But I think I spent too much time writing here when I was in high school, at a time when I was completely unsatisfied with myself, and thus have too many negative feelings attached to it to be mature, upfront, or comfortable with making it a part of my daily life again. But it's nice to have the archive there. And it's nice to be able to stay in touch with people, too. :)
