I can't believe I got to see Edan do a show on the 30th. Will told me about it a few weeks before and I had to make it. By the time the moment drew near, my older sister and Tim joined in. Will had his awesome girl Misato and two of her friends roll through.
Pre-show drunkery
Edan and Dagha totally ripped up the stage. Seriously innovative stuff went down. Mics with distortion pedals, tag team scratching while rapping, guitar playing accompanied with a kazoo, and a strange antenna that fucked with all the sound.
:D
Post-show group picture.
Lastly, Will is seen here closing the night with the final "Jesus."
Net was nice as fuck and got me the CD so I had the man himself sign it.
Afterwards we headed to get some late night eats. I almost got some poon at the end of the show, but the lady's sister cock blocked me. "Stay here, i'll be right back after I talk to my sister." She never came back, but I got mad close.

It doesn't end there for me because the following Saturday and Sunday I went to the Anime Expo with my best buddy Jamal. It took almost 2 hours for us to get our passes but we survived.
Lots of neat things to see and buy:
These cool guys over here travel across the floor :D
My cousin got the autograph of the guy behind Eureka 7 and he doesn't even watch the show! I'm gonna try to get it in my possesion.
;____;
Hori sticks were being sold at around a hundred a pop. Good thing mine came with Tekken 5 :Z

A spectrum of art work and animation cells were for sale. Clearly some of the most expensive stuff there.

What's an expo without cosplayers? I basically went for the ones that had nice costumes and generally looked good in their gettup. Definitely an obvious decline in good cosplay compared to the first time I went (a complete spike for terrible ones though). The ones that rocked this year totally deserve props. I didn't bother taking pictures of the horrible ones, I'm still trying to forget those :X
The first cosplayers I took a photo of. Don't even know where the characters are from but those costumes were very high quality, shit looked cool.
:D
Now that's something new.
She has hot piercings and that tatoo is boss. I don't even think she's an actual character but who cares? I saw her the next day and totally gave her a high five.
Best Talho at the whole event and I think he was the only Holland there. I think they did a great job.
All girls. Best ones there of those characters hands down.
Can't go wrong with some Haruko, that bass guitar is legit too.
Could've done better, but she was the only Nova there. Props for sure.
This chick had a gnarly ass, but I couldn't get her to bust the side shot. Maybe her man being all :| on the sideline had something to do with it.
Don't know the character either but she was looking cute as fuck. Gave her a high five for that killer tatoo.
:D
Holla!
Individually, these people were terrible all except for one (the female cloud in the back with awesome hair) but as a group the blow was softened a bit.
They had awesome costumes up close, don't ask me what a pirate is doing with an umbrella though :Z
And lastly, this guy right here is my number one pick for costumes for the whole event. Talk about fucking cool! After I took his picture and he walked away, this guy beside me was like "who's THAT power ranger?" and I just looked at him perplexed as fucking and yelled out "Power--AUGH AUGH AUGH! Are you seriou--AUGH AUGH! Power--AUGH!" Dude's friend was fucking laughing his ass off and I walked away just upset as fuck.

Manga was definetly promoting Karas at the expo. At their booth I came across this awesome guy.
This dude right here did the voice acting for Akuma in the Alpha Anime and does the voice of the water kappa in Karas. He talks normal, but if you ask him nicely he'll do his characters and boy do they sound scary as fuck. I was asking him questions about Karas and he didn't wanna spoil the second half but he said the water kappa is definetly not finished! Too bad the second half is currently being worked on and won't be done until February of 2007 ;_;

Stopped by the console room after watching Episodes of Champloo in one of the video rooms. Jamal has never seen Champloo so he totally creamed himself on the episode with the ninja girl that Mugen tries to bang out.
There were already tourny's going on so I peeped these guys out in their cypher.

All in all the expo was awesome and I don't feel bad about being completely broke now. It was well worth it.
Definitely satisfied with my purchases. I got the wallscroll for my buddies Oscar and Ruben and got Tim a kendo stick. I'm such a nice guy it's sickening. That flag is the greatest thing ever!
So yes, that's my brand new axe, but what did I find inside this supposedly controller only box?
Oh yeah, that's right...still unopened. I proposed an offer to my cousin, he best be quick about our deal though. With the new guitar in the house, Guitar Hero sessions are in full swing now with the siblings. Greatest. Game. Ever.
