Two owls in one day. And I thought things couldn't get much worse.

Do we know if he was one of their people? I hope for young Shacklebolt that he was not. I'll make arrangements for them to stay outside of London. There is a house a bit west from there.

There's no evidence that he was, though almost certainly a sympathiser. He was due to leave for the Soviet Union, possibly to spread the word or something.

More bad news, Umbridge is trying to push through allowing the use of Unforgiveables for Aurors. We're going to have Marshal Law before long.

It does not bode well for young Mr. Shacklebolt and the rest of your department then, that this man was a bit of a well-known sympathiser and killed. Yes, I do suppose it's best to keep Kingsley and Dorcas away in hiding - though I doubt this shall be the last time one of our own kills another.

How much influence does Umbridge hold? Should I be worried?
