war is so despicable. there are no good guys in war. I just cant understand how people PEOPLE can do things like that. wherever they are from. I just cant understand...it makes me sick to my stomach

i know what you mean.
the soldier in that article that killed an innocent civilian in a mosque was someone's son, or brother, or boyfriend, or dad, or nephew, or friend. a REAL PERSON with feelings and a conscious and a family.
i just don't understand.

I think that is one of the biggest tradgedies of war. The dehumanizing of everyone involved. The victim of course, and then also the person who allows themselves to be so manipulated and dehumanized that they would commit such an unconsciounable act as part of a system.
