i have done a lot of thinking lately. people tend to adapt to the people they associate with, meaning picking up characteristics of that group. be it junkies, professionals, alcoholics, music freaks, etc. i have a horrible feeling im picking up the worst aspects of my best friends. in theory hanging out with oneself would purify the personality ( Read more... )

Spending time by yourself is fine, but like anything, it can go too far. Also, when it's time for you to return to the world of other people, you might find you don't quite relate to them any longer. At least, I've found that to be the case.

you do know that if you need a break from the hermit thing that we will be here for you. also with the above logic you can find friends who have traits that you like/admire and try associating with them and see if something rubs off.

Mind you this precludes anyone from hanging out with me but I accept that :)

I warn you, coming to our place now wil get you exposed to our new pet.

he is a 1/2 chinese crested 1/2 Bichon Frisé the result is a tiny little almost hariless dog with a natural skunk stripe Mohawk.

I named him Sid Vicious because he is all Punk Rock
