Yay!

She's been moved from recovery back to the ward and is sleepy but fine. Hopefully this means no more cancer, no pain, no constant bleeding. I'm so relieved and happy but I've gone all floppy and exhausted! Feel like I could sleep for a week. Can't wait to see her on Thursday.

I know, so nice for a change! Dying to talk to her. I just hope she behaves herself in case I need to use that ward again! XD

Bahaha. My mom used to embarrass the hell out of me when she was in and out of hospitals. She would smoke in the room, and because of her condition, she was usually on a LOT of Morphine, so she set MANY beds on fire. I have the blankets to prove it. xD She had a closet full of sickly-blue hospital blankets with huuuge burn holes.

*snort* Mine always thinks the flowers on the curtains want to choke her. Last night she stayed awake because she was certain she'd die or be killed!

Thanks Sig! Hopefully I'll sleep tonight, last night was tiny bursts of sleep punctuated by bizarre nightmares and twitching!

YAY!!! :D :D :D

My mum had a hysto too and people were asking her if she felt like less of a woman! :( And her reply was to them: 'No, I feel a million times better now I'm not in constant pain!' She actually had less pain following the surgery than she did post-operatively. I hope for your mum it's the same.

I hope so, she's been bleeding for about 3 years! Poor old Toad. She'll also be about 3 sizes smaller too, she'll be pleased about that.

Less of a woman indeed.. aren't people strange?

And to think I handily provided the surgeons with an entrance route after my Alien-like tummy-burster escape :D
