1. Do you have any books that are signed by the author?
   Just two, thus far. I've a few CDs signed by the composer/artist though which my parents have gotten for me, strangly all of them abroad (two from Japan, one from Singapore).

I love reading dedications in used books.

There's a wonderful book on books entitled Ex Libris which has a fine section on dedications and autographs. It's just a great book in general, a thin volumen though which elwe and I have been reading aloud to each other.

I loved that book. Did you know Fadiman has edited another book, Rereadings? It looks lovely.
