Ok, so I could've chosen my words better.
At the workplace's dining table, when talking about blood tests and vaccinations, I decided to say,

"I kind of like needles."

Everyone just blinking their eyes and staring me in silence, then slowly getting back at eating and fluently changing the subject.
Me trying to hold down a hysterical giggle.

Ha ha! YEP! I can soooooo relate. Both directly on the needles and indirectly on the foot in mouth disease.

It's really difficult to think that the topics you might discuss with your friends or boyfriend - suddenly you can't with your boss for example. I'm so tired of all the thinking! There shouldn't be such term as "inappropriate".

I never was afraid of needles, then again I have an irrational fear of dentists. After I found out you can get anesthesia, it's been better. And they do that with a needle, so ;) Still I abhor the noise of the drills and whatnots.
